My beef is not that they identified as Canadian. Lots of Iranians live in the Diaspora. My problem with them is that they made absolutely no reference to their Iranian background. When I saw the interview and the way they talked and acted -pretending they are grammy-award winners- I was actually quite happy they didn't mention anything about them being Persian.
