I have been looking for "The Box" on YouTube for quite a while. Thank you for posting this beautiful, but sad piece by JD. Will we ever learn?????????? John would be so disappointed that we have not moved forward and man has not learned to live in peace.
@BlueiiiedLady John would be sad that we haven't advanced more in the first quarter of the 21st century, but I think he would also hold on to the hope that people might still learn, and at least in many cities here in the U.S. conservation in the form of recycling has taken more root. We're learning, it's just so slow that it can be depressing. If we just hang on do our part, and keep a bit of faith in humanity somday John's dream and many others will become a reality.
You really ruined the dark, sad feeling of the poem, by using a really inappropriate song for an effect completely opposite of its intention. I can hear poor John turning in his grave.
