  • No film gets under my skin like The Godfather Part II. This scene is my favourite in cinema history.

  • (Sigh...) The dreaded MovieClips tradition, cutting off a scene too early...

  • the godfather 2 the game lol

  • This is a very sad scene

  • i cant believe he would order the death of his own brother, what a sick fuck

  • @ufcfanJONES he deserved to die though, Fredo practically did the same thing

  • @MajorGingex Yea, but Fredo didn't know it was supposed to be a hit.

  • @tonmandude true, Fredo was unaware that they were actually going to take Micheal out but thats what Roth wanted, he wanted Fredo as the don but he shouldn't of took sides against the family

  • @MajorGingex True. Fredo said he was smart, and that he wasn't dumb. But, he was pretty dumb to take sides against the family. He broke one of the golden rules.

  • You're nothing to me now...

  • Cazale and Pacino both should have won Oscars for this

  • It's such a pity that so few people know about John Cazale. He was a truly great actor, and it was incredibly tragic that he had to die so young. In the five films he made before he made before he died, he always brought something unique to them. And this clip is probably his finest acting moment on film, in my opinion. RIP John Cazale.

  • @Thorne42 John Cazale was a great actor, and he portrayed all of his characters extremely well; here, Fredo just reeks of jealousy and you can see it in the way he breathes; you can hear it in every syllable of his voice. That's how invested in the character he is. If not for his death, I think he could go on to be the greatest character actor in cinema knowledge.
