This is my opnion, and it's negative to Scotty, just a fair warning, but I don't really think Scotty has that much talent, but I haven't heard any of his new music because I'm not a big fan of country, I just think he didn't try to push himself as the others did. I'm not trying to say he's a bad singer but I think Lauren should've won instead of him, or Haley. I just wanted someone who took more risks to win.

Haley obviously made it into the top 3 because she won the votes of the rich DIVAs just like her. Rich diva? Haley's parents are working musicians that own a small, older home (Scotty's home was new & 3x as big). Haley attended a local community college because they could not afford to send her to Columbia. No one proved to be a more versatile performer than Haley. She outshines her talented friend Casey on every duet, is more entertaining than Pia, & more technically proficient than James.
She rose from the bottom to the top based on talent and drive (very American)

@Salos2217 First of all, YES. Adam is head and shoulders and waist better vocalist than Haley. Adam is hailed as one of the best vocalists in GENERATIONS...
Second of all, there are a TON of former Idols that are better singers than Haley. We'll start with: pretty much ALL of season 8. Definitely the top 4. Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson, Clay Aiken, David Archuleta, David Cook, etc etc. Haley is spunky, and has some charisma...but FAR from the best performer, let alone "SINGER" ever on Idol.

I was shocked and very upset when both Pia and James were eliminated. The only reason Scotty won was because he looks good. Vote for the talented people, not on how they look. Also, Scotty did country music every week, you have to be diverse to be a recording artist. This issue is the same with Justin Bieber.

Fuck American Idol man, this was absolutely heartbreaking to watch. look at the fucking judges the entire time, they were so disappointed.
I wish I could talk to James and tell him how much talent the man has. This is to show the UNIVERSALITY and absolutely HORRID, taste that America has.
