@1oneinamillion hmmm I can't think of a specific laptop. Just something with a fair amount of power. At least 2 cores CPU if not 4 and I would say with 4GB ram. That should give you plenty of power
GREAT work Joe. Funny enough, I was thinking about doing this the other day.. will minimise the ammount of tripods and trussing I'll need for smaller gigs :) awesome!!
Thank you for sharing but i especially enjoyed your "error". I love video where ppl have problems and then SHARE what they did to overcome them. Bonus points to you! Thanks again :)
How bout making it so you would screw the light into the top of the speaker? Just do the same thing but place all the nuts and bolts attached to the light fixture, then screw into the top of the speaker like a light bulb. It would make it easier to transport both devices.
Was meaning to ask how you did that! Shame I cant really do the same thing on our Mackie's though as the mounting points are either side and not in the middle, but I'm sure there could be some sort of work around for this. Joe.
Putting the fixture upside down wont damage the unit?

All flying points on speakers can be used. You just need a M8 bolt
Markus3400 8 months ago

It is a very good setup! I would have never thought of putting a light fixture on a speaker!
