There are likely two reasons why this Landcruiser got crushed 1. they were making a safety video and 2. it was likely already stuffed. The kind of mines you see utes like this on, none of them are expected to last more than 4 years, which is why they stiff them in tax for accelerated depreciation. They can handle a lot, but I have seen them survive abuse that would kill ANYTHING!

There's a HUGE difference between Ricers and these Toyotas, is that Landcruisers are serious workhorses, not show ponies. They serve as fire tenders, farm workhorses, mine vehicles, and even police and rescue vehicles in remote areas. They can cope with conditions and terrain that would kill many vehicles, and earned their stripes in Australia. On the other hand, the American idea of a 4WD is lacking. They are too big, too thirsty and too inefficient for all but the sand dunes in Australia
