Overall wins measures the age of the program, not excellence. Give Oklahoma four to five more seasons and it will have 800 wins. No biggie.
texas leads the series by one in the Modern Era. It'll be tied after this season.

My seats were 3rd row, 45-yd-line, visitor side. Nearly every1 there is a season ticket holder; they all cheered when Bomar was injured. 1 OSU def. end intentionally dove at the back of Bomar's knees & rolled him up; Bomar was injured & the OSU player was flagged 15 yds (he should have been ejected). Sorry, but Bomar was exactly right; there are a lot of classless fans at OSU. Don't say I'm an OU fan either, I have kids at OSU & have season tickets to BOTH schools.

dxfan2525, you are probably right, but we'll never know; & if it ever did come to pass, I would feel no different. I do know what happened at OSU & you can't excuse sorry fan behavior based on what probably would happen if Bomar were to return to OU. Of the many OU fans I knew at the game, they were there to see Bomar play. Regardless of his past, he's still one heck of an athlete & his past mistakes don't entitle an opponent to inflict life-changing, career-ending cheap shot.

OK number 1, the one that was cheered was not at all a cheap shot, if you think the video you just watched is a cheap shot then you dont know football, secondly, I never doubted his skill, you can still see it, its an amazing play, thridly, if you think those fans were there just to see him play, you are not very smart, they were there to harass him, everyone of my OU friends wanted tickets so they could see him get his ass handed to him.

dxfan2525 - #1 - the cheap shot I am talking about occurred when Bomar threw a pass from mid-field. The ball was clearly gone & was being called incomplete when the OSU defensive end dove at Bomar's knees & rolled him up. The referee threw a flag & penalized OSU 15-yards. My seats are on the wall & I was close enough to hear 1 OSU player say it was worth the penalty. If you don't call that a cheap shot, then YOU don't know football.

dxfan2525 - Obviously you weren't paying attention. My original post mentioned the cheap shot I was talking about was where the OSU player dove at Bomar's knees, NOT THE PLAY ON THIS VIDEO. In fact, I NEVER said the play in the video above was a cheap shot.

Lastly, if OSU & Coach Gundy don't address the issue of the player diving at Bomar's knees in an attempt to inflict a career-ending injury that could affect the rest of his life, then he has no business going off on Jenny Carlson for honestly reporting the Bobby Reid story. Kinda hypocritical if you ask me.

Those weren't OSU fans that were cheering like that. A LOT of dipsh*t OU fans bought tickets to the game just so they could watch Bomar get punished (I know b'c I work w/several people that were going w/a bunch of their friends to do just that). They were the ones cheering like that, not the OSU fans. OSU could care less about Bomar. His ignorance and immature attitude really shines here. QQ and let it go Bomar.

There sure were a lot "dipshit OU fans" wearing orange that day. I suppose it was the "dipshit OU fans" who also hung the "Big Red Sports & Imports" sign on the wall behind the visitor's bench, huh? Now that I think about it, I think Bomar was right...there ARE a lot of classless fans in Stillwater, which IS why they will always be the stepchild to OU.

Coming from probably and OU fan I will ignore the classless comment, and bout being the thrid best team in OK? What do you base this on? Last I checked Ostate is playing for first place in the South Saturday, and OU is playing to not be in last? So I mean, how do you come to this conclusion?

Did I say that? I was just quoting stadings, but speaking of talent, we have the best reciever in big 12, and two of top five backs, so we are not short in talent.
