  • Ooh thats a real nice clip!

  • One of my favorites. You can tell from my older vids that I didn't quite know how to use my editing software, lol!

  • that's cool! Didn't you make other videos of them? if you did, do you have any as pets?

  • Hi, I have LOTS of anole videos, most of the good ones are posted. And, no, mine are all wild. I enjoy seeing them in their natural wild habitats rather than having them as pets. However, I am "attached" emotionally to a few of them. I hear they're great pets too.:)

    Thanks for watching!

  • its rare that we see them in florida but ive caught many...around thier eyes they have a blue patch but u have to look closely...

  • That blue patch around their eyes is what gives them such a beautiful look. Green and turquoise always work well together.:)

    Thanks for watching.

  • Cool lizard, can't get them in Australia

  • These are such neat litte animals. I think they're just as cute as the little aussie gecko who sells car insurance!lol They are only found (in the wild) here in the souteastern US, the Carribian, Bahamas.

    Thanks for watching!

  • That's so cute! That makes me want to give my pet anoles some hummingbird food. I bet they'd love it cuz they're so used to eating only crickets and mealworms.

  • I'd love to keep a couple of these as "pets", but there are so many wild ones around I prefer to let them stay in that way. They're fun pets too, just take proper care of them. Sounds like yours eat very well! They'd love some hummer food!

  • Yeah, if I lived in the warmer climates where the anoles are, I would also prefer to have them stay outside and in my backyard. I remember when I took a trip to the carribean islands where they were all over the place. It was so cute! Except for the one that tried to jump on my head as I was sitting down, that is. That just scared me haha.

  • It's so hot here right now, I'm not seeing very many anoles out. I've seen lots of babies though. They'll get more active when the weather cools in Sep. and Oct. I've seen more skinks this year.

  • Great animals where you live. Stuck with flies and rats in NYC.

  • Well, I like rats. I used to have a pet rat. Flies are great anole food!

My husband and I live in the woods, near a swamp in the DEEP south, close to the Fl panhandle. We have lots of interesting wildlife in the area including black bears, but I've never seen one except at the Zoo.lol

Thanks for watching the video and for the nice comment.

  • Looking forward to it.

  • New anole video has been added. There's more on the way. Enjoy!

  • I Loved It!!! This Is A Great Video. It's Really Great To See an Anole Safe and Admired in Nature!! I wish There Were More Video's Like This.

    Thumbs Up To You!!!!!

  • Thanks so much! I appreciate it, yes I am a true "nature lover".lol I love watching the anoles do what anoles do. It's fun! They're wild, we have lots of them to entertain us. I'll post more as ASAP.

    Thanks again!

  • Too Cute!!!

  • Thanks! Glad you liked it.
