Dana axles are not made by GM, Dana axles are made by Spicer. Spicer is Dana and Dana is Spicer basically. the 14 bolt, the 12 bolt, and the 10 bolt are axles that are made by GM.

check inside a dodge axle for yourself. Dodge axles are know for smaller u-joints, axle shafts, and fewer splines than Ford or Chevy. For example, all three used dana 60 front axles at some point, but the dodge versions had smaller internals than the other two. why? I dont know. Old dodge trucks were heavy with weak axle internals. I have bee inside Ford, Chevy, and Dodge dana 60F axles and more often than not that is the case.

I spoke to the guy after his pulls, he was running an open intake and his belt broke and a piece got sucked up inside the turbo. That noise isnt a good noise. His turbo is borderline fucked. Whats funny though is that the guy thought it sounded awesome........ :-/
