  • Best vid of them all

  • One of my favorite vid from phantom!!! :D first time i saw this i was inmediatly hooked to morcheeba!!! XD

  • what guns do you prefer and where is a good site to get them at?

  • Get a VSR10 or BAR10 spring rifle. Or if you have loads of money and its not too cold where you live get a Tanaka m700 based platform and fit the VSR10 hop conversion kit. The spring rifle is more practical and cheaper.

    Good Hunting ;)

  • nice u got the basic stuff down but a ghillie suit is used to break the siloute of the human body so u gotta think a little more abstract for instance the bill of a hat don't leave it perfectly bent mess it up a bit and the barrel is easy if u plan on staying in one spot for a while just throw some folage over it and that will help little things that most don't notice will help alot oh and for good practice try it on wildlife if u can fool anything that lives in the woods then u can fool people

  • Are you telling me how to suck eggs?

    Good Hunting ;)

  • @phantomTMA Lol, Thehossboss20 Just Got Slayed, For Life. Pretty Much you Killed The Outline of your body, Very Rarely We Can Barely Spot You. Oh, BTW, this Is SmexxiWaffles. I Made a New Account, since that One got Pretty Old.

  • @phantomTMA that was rude but nice vid

  • @thehossboss20 dude did you see him or something? these guys have learned me everything! and if i go airsoft and someone is sitting 2meters behind me watching me for 10seconds and doesn't see me and i kill him by saying PANG! dude

don't tell 6MM hunters what to do they ar ethe best;)

    respect from snake hunters! (belgium)

  • @thehossboss20 He has some good tips. The whole point of camo is to break the outline of the human body/face simply because our brains are trained to point out things that we recognize.

  • @thehossboss20 Dude, he's been Trained really to do this stuff. He knows more than you think, this is really good video on how to move around, and show the actual affects of a Ghillie suit.

  • is their a certain way you ghillie up your rifle or just elastics and brush

  • I have a cut off from an old day sack yoke on the side of my rifle. It allows me to add upright clumps of grass without blocking my scope picture. I also use a couple of elastics on barrel and scope. See our "m40a1 overview" video.

    Good Hunting ;)

  • This is awesome! I have a question. I am looking for a good spring and gas sniper rifle because I need my other spring sniper for something else. I am on a tight budget so it can't be crazy with the prices. I am willing to upgrade the spring gun though if that helps at all.

    Thanks!

  • If you are on a tight budget get the JG BAR10 (spring) or KJW m700P (gas).

    Good Hunting ;)

  • Thanks man.

  • You guys are pretty awesome. Don't throw stones at me. I just noticed a couple of things. 1. Don't put so many plants on your gear. The first thing I noticed was the plants you were wearing were moving but no plants around you were moving. Bang your are dead. Use the wind. 2. Don't neglect to camo your gun barrel. When I am hunting players I look for their guns. You guys are spot on as far as movement. Again please don't throw stones at me, I am a former US Marine recon. Great camo jobs.

  • Thanks. We put more foliage on than people would recommend, as we mainly work alone and this means it is not easy to top up with more foliage without massive amounts of movement/time. As the foliage drops out on the initial parts of a stalk you are left with what is the norm. We do cam the gun barrels, but even with high scope mounts, you must watch for blocking your vision.

We won't throw stones at you (we stick to 0.40g BB instead).

    Good Hunting ;)

  • hahaha Those hurt too. the barrels when using silencers, make sure the muzzle end is flat black. If I see a green or brown hole sticking out of bushes bang you're dead. Black is the most natural color for a hole. I saw a couple of frames the suppressor was all green including muzzle end, That is how I spotted him. Just my 2 cents. Thanks for the time to write back.

  • You guys are great at what you do, and i take your advice to heart. Not to mention i'm jealous of your locations. Keep up the great work!

    Long time fan,

    mango b17

  • where do you get your music?

  • I'm working in my ghillie now too and working in a fifle rag too and you're my inspiration...thanks!

  • this is nice man im working on my ghillie for now i just use my 3d hunting camo and just be part of whatever is around me move the direction the winds go

  • good hunting but I use scoped AK-47 cm 042 with short magazine and bay pod and its look good so i think beter is ak sory for bad english

    I Polish

  • The AK AEG is good, but not as good as the M14 AEG and certainly not a patch on a bolt action airsoft rifle.

    Good Hunting ;)

  • would you recomend a vsr 10 g-spec or an m14. i am going towards the g-spec but i want to get some better judgement

  • If you have never played before then buy an M14. If you are experienced at playing against AEG's then buy the G-SPEC.

    Good Hunting ;)

  • im pretty experienced. but i just recently descovered the KJ Works M700P. so i think i might get that. it looks like a great gun, if you know anything else about it, i know you have a similar gun. thanks and good hunting.

  • I used to have a KJW m700p but found it chronographed as much as 100fps different from shot to shot. It needs lots of work to get it firing properly. It's not even close to my tanaka (but look at the price difference). You get what you pay for I guess. I would buy a BAR10 if you are on a budget or as a first bolt rifle. Gas is better as a secondary IMO.

    Good Hunting ;)

  • i have had a well l96 for a while witch shoots between 400-450 fps but i have notice it is never accurate even when i use the correct bb's. and i find it way to heavy to be carrying around the field. i want a light, but powerful gun, maybe 450-500 fps. but no more than 200 US dollars. i have been looking for weeks, but i cant seem to find the right one besides the r700, but i guess that isn't the best or maybe it is for under 200. good hunting

  • Get a BAR10. You will not be dissapointed.

    Good Hunting ;)

  • Hey Phantom. I have an AGM MP-001 there is a problem that I need to push the mag in for it to feed consistently. So every time I work the bolt, I need to push the mag in. Is there anyway I can fix this?

    -Good Hunting and nice vid

  • All I can think is to take the spring out of the mag catch and find a replacement (cut one down from inside a pen).

    Good Hunting ;)

  • Thanks. Any experience with that kind of problem?

  • No worries. Nah m8, just of read such issues.

    Good Hunting ;)

  • Does it need more or less tension?

  • I'm guessing more.

    Good Hunting ;)

  • OK thanks for the help man

  • The real problem, I found out is not the magazine catch. Don't mess with it because you'll have a helluva time putting it back in. The REAL problem is that the indent in the mag is too deep. So my dad and I figured out the problem and put some Gorilla tape in it (Extreme duct tape) Put it in the indent and above it on the mag. We will end up putting some super glue or modeling glue in place of the tap. It works like a charm now and THE MAG CATCH IS NOT THE PROBLEM DON'T MESS WITH IT

    -good huntin

  • Nice work. Although I had read of people who fixed same symptoms with a replacement mag catch spring.

    Good Hunting ;)

  • well I tried to do the spring, by stretching it out, but it didn't do a thing

  • Hey nice job guys.. you really put the meaning to not needing a 120$ ghillie suit.. i mean this is way more natural so it is way more efective.

    -Good Hunting

  • a qick qustion phantom. what does tma stand for? I was just wondering

  • phantom, i got a question, i made a ghille suit out of burlap, good ten hours.lol. but my question is what color should i use for fall? and i use spray paint. but dude your a great hunter.

    good vids too dude

  • Use tan or a brown base. Use a green that is bordering yellow, in small quantities (like wilting grass) try to imitate the brown forest floor with leaf litter. Use dark green only if you have evergreen onsite. Study the seasons and your local environment.

    Good Hunting ;)

  • What's the name of the song??

  • Hi PhantomTMA. I really enjoy your videos and use them to make myself a better 6mm hunter. I have a JG Bar 10 and need some help choosing a bb for it. If you could tell me a good weight and company it would be most appreciated!

  • ;) I use a 0.30g BB in a BAR10. I use KSC perfect or Elite Airsoft. I have changed the hop rubber only on my BAR10. Fitted a firefly hard VSR rubber and it gives enough spin and good consistancy.

    Good Hunting ;)

  • what is the song called

  • answer is in the film.

    Good Hunting ;)

  • the song is called triger hippie by mocheebe

  • what is the song called?

  • answer is in the film.

    Good Hunting ;)

  • ok a i have seen the film before, but now every time i try to view the video it says "An error has accured, please try again later."

  • natural camou will work ebtter than ghille. but you shouldn't have those sort of "antennas" waving around like flags, when you breath... so, try to have only short camo. stying to the ground even wile movng would be perfect. pulling over the ground in stead of lifting up and lay down again to move forward. stay with the legs, arms and gun downto the ground. but your near to perfection. try to keep up the great work!

  • Yes, however, sometimes you have to move in higher stances to cover ground, as our games are in large areas with minimal chance of contact (some players do not see anyone for 2 full days and night.) Choosing route, pace and stance is always one of the BIG questions and depends if you are behaving like prey or hunter. Much depends on the situation in the game at that time and how you feel you stand in scores, as to how aggressive you maybe. Cheers.

    Good Hunting ;)

  • yes. the balance between speed and camou is important. different situtaions need different balances. I dont play this game. i learn full camouflaged move while i was in german military service.

  • Need a ghille. They are not that hot. Actualy they are cool.

  • i am getting a bar 10 g-spec, from your comments i suppose you reccommend this rifle?

  • Yes, awesome piece of practical kit.

    Good Hunting ;)

  • I can see you are not using the "ghillie" suit itself. It's a shirt+pants with lots of vegetation on it. Is that it?

  • did you make those gille suits or did you buy them???

  • They are mainly natural vegetation stuffed into elastic loops. Not large/hot manmade ghillies. Check out the "6mm Hunter STEALTH preview" for details on this....

    Good Hunting ;)

  • what are your thoughts on the Well L96 awp? i am thinking about purchasing it...

  • Good Beginners gun, but not as good a choice as the BAR10 or VSR10 (which can be the best performing rifles).

    Good Hunting ;)

  • while watching this video i noticed a silencer on your wepon..... do they really work or are they just for show???

  • They work best at low powers (I joule Gspec) but with high powered tanakas they are still noticable. Good Hunting ;)

  • Phantom- does a UTG L96 seem like a good buy to you, as a lower end rifle?

  • The BAR10 is a better buy IMO.

    Good Hunting ;)

  • dude, u r AWESOME at camo! nice work

  • love all your vids, where would i find your dvd? also, what's this song? haha the ultimate sniper's anthem! lol

  • what gear do you almost always use when on a stalk im trying to get an idea for what i should get for sniping

  • A difficult question to answer in 500 characters! The up-coming stealth DVD will answer most, if not all of your questions. One of the most important things all the Hunteers take into the field is experience ;) You only get that through practice and a willing to learn. There are no teachers, only pupils! Get out there & learn what works, (and what dont), for you. Kit is ever evolving, eg, my ghillie has evolved as my game has, the 1st boots I used arnt made anymore!Never stop learning-we dont!:)

  • i love those suite

  • what kind of ghillie suit do you prefer?

  • Really Good Video :D

  • do you ever get infested with ticks?

  • now and again I get the odd one. Good Hunting ;)

  • i hate those when im trying to snipe.

  • what`s the name of the Song?

    Nice vid`s Phantom!

  • Morcheeba "Hippie Trigger"

  • thanks, great song to kinda get you into the slow moving stalking attitude.

  • Trigger hippie actually ;)

  • True! Sorry for the mistake! :D

  • STOP USING THE MANBULL BBS!!! they WILL fuck up your hop up... searce for them on google... I've use them myself for a little while now and thereis some kind of residue left on my hop up knob from fiering the bbs at high velocity!!!

  • all you in 6mm hunter's are truly the best airsoft snipers ive seen ^^ , and u make great videos!

  • WHAT TYPE GUNS DO YOU USE

  • airsoft guns

  • They are G Spec VSR 10's - the primary 6mm hunting rifle.

  • "Am the trigger hippi" <3 HAHA!

Buying the Stealh dvd!!! Look's awsome. Any tips on good reading/viewing material on stealth, tactics or anything else? (adder then yours that is ;)

  • wow you guys are amazing, how long have you been doing this?

  • Click on my name for details. Good Hunting ;)

  • i am currently looking for an airsoft sniper that is below 300$ ( american currency ) i have looked at the JG BAR 10 , the Tokio Marui VSR 10 , and the Classic Army M24 but i dont know which one is the better buy can u help me out sir or if u have another gun u find better tell me and ill look at it................. my goal is a gun that is shooting around 400 FPS or higher for a low price......... please respond and thank you for your time sir

  • Get the JG BAR10 expect to have to upgrade the sears. Good Hunting ;)

  • thank you sir will do

  • Im gettin better bushman, im coming across more successful ambushes on Sunday's and then getting away from them aswell. Good stuff :D

  • i agree u guys are amazing

  • how did you get your gun to look like it has a silencer??? it looks sooo real... you have the best stalking skillz ive seen so far... where do you live i need to take a trip wit ya there and learn from you 2 masters

  • What is the name of that GREAT song? As Leslie Nielsen would say: I LOVE IT!

  • The answer is in the film. Good Hunting ;)

  • I'm probably going to sell my l96 for a g-spec now. My only concern is the g-specs performance. Does anyone know how well it performs?

    Thankyou.

  • where do you get your jackets and pants, and what type are they!?!?!?

  • Mantis is the player in most of this film. He is wearing 3 different jackets during the film. He has modified all of them to have elastics to add foliage. His trousers are very very old and are a russian type of cam used in Afghanistan. Again loops have been added. Most of our stuff is old and not easy to source these days. Good Hunting ;)

  • yes, I love the "good hunting ;)" And what kind of jacket/pants are you wearing in your new stealth video? I like the color of those, much like DPM.

  • once again awesome video, thanks.

  • damn,they good

  • What is the range on your guns? They're gas guns right?

  • It is a PCS Tanaka Works gas rifle (m700 action in a m40a1 stock). Range, depends what power you set it to. I guess at 550fps (measured with 0.20g) it can fire 0.29g SGM pellets out effectively to 75m. It does fire them further, but chances of a hit are greatly reduced, due to limitations of air currents on a 0.29g pellet. If you use the new madbull 0.40g you will be able to get better hit percentage out to longer ranges, according to other peoples initial tests. Good Hunting ;)

  • You guys do an amazing job of moving stealthily, and choosing great, very hidden positions!

  • nice vid, but in which area do you play?

  • what do you hunt?

  • Other Hunteers. ;)

  • The People in this vid are very good at shooting

always 5 stars recommend this vid

  • r u ex military

  • Do you make your ghillie suits? Because they are very nice.

  • yes he doess and the webtex concealment vest is an awesome base

  • u should be a sniper in the army

  • im pretty sure he was

  • What do you guys do about ticks? I end up covered in the buggers. Had tick-bite fever once before so I'm wary.

  • Be sure to wear snug clothing with secure wrists, waist, and neck. Use gloves and high leg boots. Use a mesh face net (that also covers the neck) and a hat. Most repellents do not work. I sometimes get the odd tick, but get someone else to check me and remove them. You can catch limes disease from ticks, so it is something to be aware of. Good Hunting ;)

  • another great video

good job, its amazing on how good a job u guys do into making something like this.

  • Where do you guys get the tanaka guns? please provide a website if possible.

  • redwolf dotcom

    Good Hunting ;)

  • there way too expensive

  • You found somewhere cheaper? Good Hunting ;)

  • Phantom, Do you ever get any gas leaks on the rifles? my dad says i can't get a gas gun untill he knows they dont leak, he thinks they're gonna explode and damage my skin coz im young lmao. please can u give him a slap and tell him NO!

  • If something leaks, it will be the magazine inlet or outlet. Not all guns are designed for green gas/propane and should only use Hfc134A gas. They don't explode unless you try to put red gas or silly pressure into them. Gas expands more in hotter conditions so stick to lower power gas if its summer to be safe and avoid damage to your gas gun. I like non blow back (NBB) as no gas is wasted, there is no recoil and less noise/movement. Trigger pull can be very long though. Good Hunting ;)

  • nice music man i like it

  • what gun is he using in this video

  • Remingtons m700 and M40A1 i think

  • Just the tanaka works m40a1 PCS (m700 action on m40a1 furniture). Good Hunting ;)

  • Great stuff as usual.

I waiting to see more of the shotgun though.

  • cheers. Pump Shotguns are mainly used in nightgames here, as they give great gameplay. Besides, my old m37 now fires 8+ pellets per pump, so is useless for longer ranges. I used a TM 3 barreled pump gun for the last night game. Very good and got me results, but you really had to pick your shots vs opponents with mk23's and reloading was not fun in the pitch black.

    Good Hunting ;)

  • Great Video!

    Superb!!!

    I Love It!

Keep them coming! I like all of your videos!

    Watch mine too please! ;-)

  • still the worlds best airsoftsnipers :p ;) :)

    keep up the good work!

  • Fantastic choice in music, trigger hippie is a song I've loved for a long time and it perfectly fits this video

  • so in all of these winter videos, you are wearing the webtex concealment vest?

  • no this is a tiny ghillie on the shoulders only. A good hat :) . A looped belt kit and elastics sewn onto clothing. This is not me, it is mantisTMA. Good Hunting ;)

  • can you feel the pellet hitting you with all that stuff on

  • Not always, but in Hunteering there is no background AEG noise etc and most of the game is stalk and ambush, so you are far more aware of your environment and sounds of a hit so close that you should call it despite feeling it.

    Good Hunting ;)

  • would you recommend burlap or jute for a ghillie in a leafy environment?

  • was is a 6mm??? Is it a type of bullet?

  • A 6mm Airsoft pellet. Most are actually 5.95mm really. Good Hunting ;)

  • oh ok... Its the metal bb? or plastic?

  • Plastic. Good Hunting ;)

  • oh ok cool... ya i use 6mm also then or 5.95...

  • AWESOME!!

  • Thankyou Phantom.

  • nice i'll have some news ones after the new year when its a lil more warm ...but tell me wut u think of the vid i left

  • Nice ghillie, very effective. Just learn to move slower ;) Good Hunting

  • Gread video......

  • Yep good work I like your videos ;)

Your camouflag skills are damn good.

    Keep going on this way.

  • nice video dude, i like that slide at the end!

  • oh my gosh! By far one of your BEST video's. Great music, great editing, and I can't wait to get the new dvd. Good job

  • Hi! I've been looking at your videos because they are just awsome.

    I have a few questions

What suit do you normally use that is successful for hiding yourself(such as ghillie/concealment vest?

I am planning on buying one, but I really don't want to go over the 60 dollar price range.

    Do you suggest anything?

  • Modify your existing clothing using elastic loops, scrim net and old olive materials or sacking. Start with a hat and your upper torso/shoulders. The concealment vest is great in summer but needs modding for winter months. It is a good base for a ghillie suit, but will slow you down more than if you just mod your normal clothing. Good Hunting ;)

  • Thanks so much for helping me out btw. dnt know much abt ghillies. I have a few more.

What you mean by moding vest? Would u put netting & jute to mod it or...

Why would the suit slow you down than reg clothing?

I was looking and saw (bush patch) You iron da straps on your clothing. What do you think about those? Can the con vest be ironed?

Srry asking alot of questions. Just wanna make sure I make the right choice. Also its awsome I have the opportunity to talk to a pro about this stuff.

  • The concealment vest is a mesh item, so no need to add a net to it. Use old scrim net, hessian (cur up sacks) etc.

Click on my profile and look for the link to 6mmHUNTERS website. You'll find a full review of the vest on there. The iron on patches are OK but I would sew them on aswell. Adding your own elastics would be far cheaper.

    Good Hunting ;)

  • The larger ghillie suits slow you down due to snagging and general encumberence combined with heat build up. Lightweight ghillies are great if you want to be good on the stalk rather than just ambush. Good Hunting ;)

  • im thinking about getting a vsr 10 and getting a m40a3 conversion kit do you think that would be a good choice

  • that would be a good choice but its better than you tune the vsr 10 and M40A3 conversion kit is very expensive you know that?

  • yeah ok thanks

  • the FORTRESS m40a3 stock is notorious for cracking around the bolt slot. Its also stupidly over priced and has poor mold lines on it. Stay well clear is my advice. Good hunting ;)

  • ok thanks i will trust your word cause i can tell you know what youre talking about what do you think about the classic army m24 or the kjw m700

  • The CA M24 is too heavy, with APS2 style inner parts (getting harder to source some bits) It has poor hop up and the worst bolt handle I have used.

The KJW m700 is a poor mans tanaka but suffers from inconsistant power output, making it somewhat less predictable to shoot at times. It is still value for money and nice enough mid range gun. The mags are awful though.

    Good Hunting ;)

  • ok so dont get either one of those pretty much save up for a tanaka

  • Yes, but expect to replace the hop/barel/rubber and after a year or so the impact plates or mags. Either that, or deck out a VSR10, as it is cheaper. Good Hunting ;)

  • ok thanks man your vids are awesome

  • cool video, nice job 5/5

  • 1st comment

  • another great vid, two thumbs up

  • Do you guys airoft against each other, or do you actually hunt animals?

  • Well done. VERY nice Ghillie's. Ever go to a airsoft skrim? You would dominate with your awesome concealment!

    (Song?)
