Hey there. I have created some 3D content for these monitors. You don't need glasses, and all you need is 2 working eyes. It actually looks like the artwork is popping out of the monitor about 4-5 feet. You need to be standing about 6-10 feet away for maximum effect, and it can be viewed up to 45 Degrees from looking straight at the monitor. Imagine playing a FPS on this. I think its the future of video games. It only works with proper video rendering, or pre-rendering.

You have to be present to tel the effect with both eyes. But they seem so more of the same. There is a company called Magnetic that has 42" up to 57" displays. 40" is not an standard anyware. I do not see this company in the around for too long.

So how is this any different than a regular monitor? It looks like Team Fortress 2's 3D on my Acer.
