Thanks a lot for your comments! It's funny, the first time I attempted to write the speech, I tried writing what everyone wanted to hear, a cookie-cutter speech. I showed it to my dad, and he immediately told me to start over, and to "put myself into it". Ironically, my major point in the new speech was to "be yourself". :)

Thanks for all your support, Glacier Peak is truly a fantastic school, and I'll look back on those years with great fondness and respect. Go Grizzlies!

This speech was stellar. David’s honesty in his words-so easy for us all to relate to- were matched only by his simple words for success. It has been 8 months since 2011 graduation and I still think about what he said. You knocked this one out of the park David!
