@TheDiego908 When you fight Lavos in the Ocean Palace.. you lose. (the first time) But when you complete the game and do New Game+ and do it you can defeat him. Or when you get Lucca's teleport thing you can just go to 1999 and fight him.

I think its messed up that Mistuda wrote 90% of this game's soundtrack, and they put Nobuo Uematsu in the dream team room. He hardly did anything for this game! Anyway, thats my rant. you can still get this ending by going through all the storyline and then coming back to the right telepod... that way, you can choose the party members, learn new techs and level up to at least 70, which you need for this lavos!!!!

Just got this ending today. Lavos took a while, but wasn't really that hard at all, and I was only level 50ish. All I needed was a few Elixirs.

There was supposed to be sequel. As you can see, when Lavos is destroyed, his shadow is still remaining in the explosion. If you played the game, the (our) Left Lavos Bit is the actual Lavos and not the big guy in the middle.

well they've made progress, they really need the script writer and even planner, Masato Kato(I think that's his name) to be back on board. Sakaguchi is down as is Mitsuda, Toriyama the artist probably wouldn't be too hard to get. Who else I think is hard is Kitase who makes Final Fantasies for SquareEnix and no longer works with Sakaguchi, as does the guy Hiro who came with the Squaresoft RPG systems
