There is something else about this music (don't kill me for saying it!)... I think it's got lots of similarities in many ways with another masterpiece: The theme G. Santaollalla composed for "Brokeback Mountain".Both pieces of art and really evocative, but with lots in common: 1.soft entry but "strong" later. 2.reapeated emotional motif. 3.Not at all different far as purely the music is concerned (its the orchestration that makes the big difference!).Listen with attention and tell me i'm wrong!

This very part is just a piece of art and magicaly harmonizing with the scenes it's playing along! As about the film itself, it was really good in many aspects, but unfortunately too "heavy" far as the script is concerned. It was only when watching it for the second time that could really catch up with most (not all) the information and details i was shelled with every single minute, critical to entirely follow the story! Far too much action which put aside the-very emotional- sentimental part!

@quzks lol nope i genuinely thought it was poor. the story played out exactly how i thought it would almost line by line, soundtrack was decent without being amazing, acting was meh. it just didnt take me to places i thought it should. I wouldnt begrudge anyone liking it though, it was okay. But i saw it late and it didnt meet the hype, for me. the accomplishments of the film for me rest on its technicalities.

What I didn't like about it was the stupid side-plot, undeveloped characters, and relatively dry screenplay (the characters spent more time explaining what was going on than anything else). The score was great, but other than that, this was just another action movie.
