This transmission was my best MET experience of the 2007/2008 season! Not only they are excellent singers, they are also thrilling comedians - Peter Mattei being so handsome.
(Although this piece was best sung by Nicolae Herlea - you could hear and understand every word and every vocal in all of them which is not the case for Peter - but who cares Peter Mattei was very convincing.)

This has got to be my FAVORITE production of Barber. It's just so whimsical.
And the whole cast was fantastic. Florez and Mattei just nailed their parts.
