I was selling this at the time, so Im not the right person to ask. But I would say that they work nice. They had some problem with cutting if you dont use the marks. But maby they have fixed that now?
@geekjoan I worked on Roland and Mimaki machines, from ecosolvent to mild solvent, from cutter integrated in the printer (like this one) to a optic sensor cutter paired with the printer.
imho, printer 2 in 1 is loosing too much time for the actual production
Roland is putting nice printing upfront but the work flow is pretty shady vs Mimaki.
Mimaki is more robust and it can take harder and longer work flow than Roland, with a slight reduction in quality. A SLIGHT!

No, Roland machines dont use them unless you take out the print and put it in for later cutting.
