Acum mergem palat diavol lui" for example doesn't really add up, a direct translation would be "This word at chest with cross, Now we walk palace devil of".

@blackbonexxx Codru is a type of forest and "Merge in ceata" literary means "Walks in fog" and the second line is either in another language or is a type of Japanatised Romanian (the same way they do with English) that could mean "Acolo Dracul domnea" (There, the devil ruled) or "Acolo Dracul dormea" (There, the devil slept).

Dracul (Vlad Dracul to be exact) is what Vlad Tepes (Dracula) used to be called and Dracul means Devil.
