their is never a reason to have to tow a car upside down ive been operating towtrucks for 10 to 15 years and never towed a car upside down u can always up wright a car before loading it i would not allow a tow operator to my car on the roof for any reason that just show the operator dosnt know what he or she is doing and can get them self or bystandards hurt
We only tow em like this if they have out of state tags. And yes in a parking lot. We recovered one upside down from inside a parking garage upper floor once.
Hard to tow a car right side up when it's bing flipped over is why it needs towing. People not from Texas dont know shit about towing, and fail at life in general.
@peepeevagi it would be hard to tow a car when its being fliiped over at the same time. Ive never seen that happen and Im sure gravity wouldnt allow that to happen because by the time you start moving, the car would be on the ground???
hey, while the car is that way why don't you guys change the oil. Check to see if the CV boots are cracked and change the oil in the tranny. Be much easier to gain access
I See That You Have The Same Writing Characteristics That I Have. But, I Think That Some Of It Is Being Drained Out Or Leaked Out Through The Opposite Side. For Instance, Dipstick For The Oil, Brake Fluid Cap Is Not On Tight, Radiator Fluid Leaking Through The Reservoir Outlet Hose Or Spout When Over Heated And Last But Not Least Transmission Fluid Coming Out From The Dipstick When Not Placed In Correctly. How, I See A Big Lawsuit For Reckless And Non-Observant For Hazards Or Damages To Vehicle!

I would like to say on behalf of the towing industry. THIS IS AN EMBARASSMENT!! Any driver with any experience SHOULD be able to roll a vehicle back onto all fours...We never use to have flatbed's...ANYTHING can be towed with a "wrecker" just need a driver that knows his as from a hole in the ground.
You're Right! But Here's A Scenario For You, It's Stupid But I Have To Explain It, "The Supervisor Is On The Spot, And The Trainee Suggests A Solution Or Remedy To Get It Out From That Angle, Now, The Supervisor Takes In The Solution And Now He's The Dummy On 'Candid Camera" Along With His Trainee!" For Taking In And Adhering For That Remedy.
yea but at the same time wouldnt a flatbed be much more safer doin this tow i mwan i got a wrecker but i jus dnt see how u can pull this off safely with debris flyin off or police stopin u for unsafe load
I agree, a tilt and slide would be alot safer in this situation, but at the same time, if the car was strapped tightly to the truck it might do the job if its a short journey?
I have done this many times doing recoveries from accidents. Sometimes there is no other option. It mostly depends on terrain. This isn't out of the ordinary. After getting in the clear simply extend the wheel lift for a pivot point. Wreckers rock!
come one guys. obviously the car flipped over somehow and that was the best way to get the car without causing more damage. sometimes i wonder about the people that comment on videos here. you guys really don't believe the stuff you are typing do you?

Now you people see why we push for training of tow operators. sucks to see something so stupid. Would really like to know why they did it like that . And I am sure the boss that owns the truck would love this as well. Just plain stupid. and btw you would be fired before that car touched the ground if you worked for us.

Why do you have to capitalize every words first letter? It doesn't look good. It just gives me a headache.
