I use a shampoo with no sulfates in it. It removes the products I use, which are always silicone/mineral oil free. I haven't had problems with build up that the shampoo couldn't handle.
@lalalynnsey lmfao! I always notice this! They give an answer that is so vague and general that it seems like your question is being answered, but then when the vid is over, it's like wtf? I haven't learned anything!
her hair is actually dry so i think people with curly hair should be careful with the products she is telling us to use xxx i recently tested one and it failed to work on my hair
actually mooncreme is right. shampoos are way too drying for curly hair which already tends to be dry. So, you should either use really gentle shampoos or you can just use your conditioner to wash your hair instead of shampoo. then, use another richer conditioner to condition your hair.
If your african american, your hair is dryer like the woman in the video, then you should NOT shampoo all the time. Although you should still shampoo.
If your white, you should shampoo once every two days. Especially if your in sports, or swimming.
mooncreme, you are saying exactly what im saying. so, how am i wrong?
Most shampoo's contain sulfates which are very harsh and they dry out your hair, especially curly hair which is naturally dry. So its best to avoid using sulfate shampoos or atleast limit it.
@MoonCreme Ok correction hun. First off, non-sulfate shampoos DO NOT cleanse the hair of any product! So they are WORTHLESS! The only sulfate that one should be avoiding in a shampoo is SODIUM LAURETH/LAURYL SULFATE (badly dries hair, damages the insides and gets rid of hair's natural oils) and DIMETHICONE (The silicone that sits on hair preventing any moisture from entering the hair). The ingredient we MUST look for in shampoo to clean hair = AMMONIUM LAURYL SULFATE. It is gentle AND cleanses.
