    Video card: Not Installed

How do you use a DOS computer without a video card? Just guess what everything says and hope you don't type anything wrong?

  • i hope u dont bother me asking @danoct1 , but why does your computer make those loud and unhealthy noises? Or is that just how fucking old your computer is xD

  • @dbafseries HE IS USING A OLD DOS COMPUTER.....

  • Though i did not understand anything you said. I somehow feel smarter after watching this.

  • @danooct1 I don't know why the BIOS screen for the CMOS looks cool... Just... does.

  • WOWY wow wow

  • Haha well i guess i were lucky. I never met such viruses you have when i used MS-DOS.

I just met AntiEXE, AntiCMOS and Form.D.

  • So easy to be calm when no one uses DOS, and it's not your main system.

If it is... Danooct1 would have punched a computer.

  • Bit creepy at 3:00 am... I'm not gonna sleep tonight

  • @Jaythre

i hate when i cant sleep

  • this video needs a restart counter :D

  • @danooct1 Why does it take so long to load DOS from your diskette? It should normally take 25 seconds to load.

  • This is pretty cool.

  • Can you reply to this, @danooct1 ?

  • @HpyoSam No.

  • When it starts to load dos it sounds like a dead car trying to tick-over

  • Man I love your video's!! Do you use any virtual pc's for some videos? I know you don't with this and the compaq portable

  • @half0pipe Yes he does... I think he likes real PCs better though.

  • 0:54 - I love that sound.

  • Im viewer 1998 the year i was born O.o

  • It sounds like the Casino De Malte DOS virus.

  • Great, my computer just lost weight.

  • CMOS is forever dead yay

  • *skipping the video from part to part*

"lets wait the computer to start...like i just did...with ultimate...time"

  • Well that computer is super fast...

  • @ecorobo fuck yea

i see BF3 running smooth bit best quality :-D

  • Had no idea early BIOSes were so manual, never heard of HDD types before. I'll be wary of that when I finally get around to setting up my DOS machines. Thanks for the insight.

  • dat hard drive boot up sound

  • Sounds a little like CIH in the way that it totally screws you.

  • Phoenix BIOS version 1.0.0 FTW!

  • great virus lol that is horrible. most people today would have no idea how to partition a drive in dos or even understand what that means.

  • @coldlogic1 Nowadays most OS installers have that functionality built in. Also, most viruses nowadays aren't that destructive to your computer, they just want to steal your credit card and bank numbers and/or have your computer act as a part of a bot-net. So, one might not even know if their computer has a virus at all. However, there are the ones that are just a nuisance by displaying ads.

  • Too bad that you can't just image the working DOS disc to another hard drive and then just write the good install over the virus'd one every time.

  • I have to admit..."Your FAT is destroyed and his copy is only in memory." sounds like a punchline for a crap slimming product.

  • @LtheOriginal Chinese Slimfast.

  • @LtheOriginal That's why we have NTFS

  • no dislikes! :D

  • Still better than mac

  • Too bad it doesn't display anything like the CMOS DEAD virus </3

  • What's your major?

  • I like the camera :D

  • I wonder if they called it a goat file for the same reason I did in a virus. I wrote a virus for Windows XP that was able to hide itself from file system scans by causing all reads of the virus by any virus scanners to be redirected to a file hidden deep in the file system called "goat.exe". It didn't do anything special though. Never managed to defeat heuristics scanning. I'm not the best hacker...I just know how to fool the file system with a FSF.

  • @deusprogrammer It's called a goat file because it's an infected "sacrificial goat." AV researchers will write a very short assembly program that prints out the message you see. Whenever they're testing new and unknown viruses, they get the virus to infect the goat file, thereby sacrificing it. When disassembling it to look at the virus code, they can easily tell what was added in my by the virus and what belonged to the host program originally, making analysis much easier.

  • @danooct1 That makes sense. We called ours goat, because it was the "scapegoat" that got scanned all the time.

  • holy fuck

  • I like the sound of boot up :3

  • @TheSuperHeroBoy same here :) I might make it as my ringtone lol
