  • This is a Marik Ishtar Cover

... oh yah and... CARDGAMES ON MOTORCYCLES!

  • It's a wonder no one ever noticed a large hulking figure belting out inspirational music at the top of his lungs for all these years.

  • Alright, I heard there is Belle from Beauty and the Beast reading her book, a satellite, Carpet from Alladin, and Pumba being carried out on a tray some where in this song. I found Belle at 1:20 at the bottom of the screen but where are the others?

  • @Silvia1826 I found the man shaking out the Magic Carpet from Aladdin

  • I've watched a one-line multilanguage for this song and I like all the versions in it, though I particularly like:

-German (Hendrik Bruch has one of the best animated international voices),

-Dutch (Raymond Kurvers has such a cute voice, why don't people like it?),

-European French (Francis Lalanne sounds a little more determined, but I love it),

-Italian (Massimo Ranieri is always very handsome),

-Greek (Sakis Rouvas is cool), and

-European Portuguese (Tó Cruz gives something special)

  • Tom Hulce says he couldn't become a singer after his voice changed but I wonder why--> I mean he really DOES sing incredibly well, he hits every note he's got an amazing vibrato and he's got a very gentle voice! He's an awesome actor but also an unbelievable singer, too!

  • poor Quasi

  • Gah, I have such a crush on Tom Hulce's voice!

  • @vanillaskulldirector yeah it sounds so wonderful, really!

  • 1 person have sadly never been out there.

  • I miss the old disney movies that basically say f*** you to Autotune.

  • Ezio's on the other side

  • This is by and far one of the most amazing Disney scores and it really touches the themes, if not the plot, of Hugo's work

  • Pause at 1:20 and you can find the cameo

of Belle at the bottom right she is in her blue dress reading a book

  • Carpetfrom Alladian is there too, and it's hard to see in this, but Pumba is being carried on a stick by two men as well, but I'm not sure if it's him.

  • I can see the carpet, but I can never find

    Pumba.

  • If you can find one in HQ, he's in the bottom left is the first to lave the scene.

  • I found an hq and I was able to find it.

    Thanks!

  • This is kinda bugging my sister a bit...but does anyone else notice how this video's a bit higher-pitched than it is in the actual VHS/DVD?

That aside, thanks so much for putting this up. Lots of fun to re-visit this amazing song

  • i notice that alot with ALOT of different videos! so believe me you are NOT alone, i notice it and it bugs the living daylights out of me. XD

  • @sailorV124 yeah for some reason it's a half step too high! his hight note in the song is an "a" on the VHS/DVD, and here it is an an "a#". it's bugging me too.

  • @jugancerijb me too! i have perfect pitch, and this is killing me =\

  • @jugancerijb and are you talking about the very last note or the high one before it? because the high note is a g# and the last note is a b flat, haha :D

  • is that really Tom Hulce who is singing. I´d really like to know that! Because it sounds a bit different from his "speaking voice"...

I hope it´s really Tom Hulce because I like him very much!!!!

He is such a good actor and if he is really singing this I must say --> WOW!

  • it is his lovely voice.

its weird because I didnt know he was in Amadeus but i recognized his voice and its just weird thinking he was in that movie and then hes in THIS movie, it blew my mind how beautiful of an actor and singer he is. :)

  • @MusicMeddy Oh it is him!! isn't he wonderful? I just finshed watching Amadeus! and I'm 14 and I'm in love with this film and Amadeus!

  • @ElKierano

i know right! fantastic! ive ALWAYS admired his singing! and his acting of course! my sister's boyfriend is an actor in the play "spring awakening" and as Tom Hulce is one of the producers, i got to meet him! he's so nice! i got an autograph and everything! i told him how an amazing singer he was and how i wished i could sing like him! he actually asked me to sing something for him there on the spot! so i did, and guess what?! he said i was bloody fantastic! i will NEVER forget that!

  • I love this version.

  • At 1:21 (roughly, it may be earlier by a few seconds), at the bottom right hand side, you can see Belle from Beauty and the Beast

  • gosh, you're right! xD

well, she also lives in Paris, so this was meant to happen, huh? :D

  • Possibly, that's a lil trick Disney does, mixes a couple of character into eachothers films. Aparently, Scar (Lion King) is in Hercules (allthough, I'm not sure where or when).

  • oh! you see Scar when Hercules is getting his picture painted onto a vase. He is wearing Scar's skin. Sounds kinda morbid but it totally is him! :D

  • Oh yeah, I remember now. I completely forgot about that bit.

  • nu its a man with a blue box. not belle. WAIT ur right. shes before they close up, (at like 1:15) good catch~!

  • For a deformed bell ringer, he has an awesome voice. Fantastic vibrato!

  • This is going to be one of the highlight musical numbers in my pantomime at Doncaster Little Theatre, along with "Hellfire," "Be Prepared" (Lion King), "Thriller" and "Prince Charming"

  • Does anybody know who is the singer?

  • Tom Hulce.

  • This is one of the best Disney movies.

    It deserves more credit.

  • @19Szabolcs91 yeah, but insults the novel greatly, but when not comparing it to the novel it is an amazing movie.

  • @19Szabolcs91 this is my favorite disney movie of all time!

  • @19Szabolcs91 yep i agree, tis my 2nd favourite, ive watched it SOO many times, i love it to bits! Love this song, along with all the others too!

  • Thank you.

  • Most underrated Disney movie ever. The opening is one of the greatest, most fluid pieces of animated storytelling ever married to music.

  • Quasimodo's got an awesome vibrato in his voice.

  • It's Tom Hulce, the guy who played Mozart in "Amadeus."

  • That explains it.

  • Right you are! AB-SO-TIVE-LY PO-SI-LUTE-LY one of the most endearing singing voices in all of Disney, indeed! I SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO worship that voice! Rock on, Tom Hulce! WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

  • @nerorose That's the amazing voice of Tom Hulce :)

  • i love disney comeo it makes me want to watch all the movies & try 2 find everything.

like did u know that in the beginning of the little mermaid u can see mickey donald & goofy!!! i'm still trying 2 find them

  • Excuse me but I don`t understand what you`ve written because I`am learning UK English at school.

  • Sorry I shorten words when I write them. I said that I love how Disney hides other Disney characters in other Disney movies.

I wish I knew where all of the Disney Cameo's where.

  • omg me 2! in Hercules u can see Scar and in Aladdin u can see mulan and Hercules scenes! lol :)

  • Mulan was made in 1998 & Aladdin was made in 1992 so i don't think u can see Mulan in Aladdin. Who u can see is: Sebastion, Beast, Pinoccio, and i think that's it but there may be more.

  • Yea, but they sat on the great wall with the dragon and fireworks...lol and i saw Scar in hercules and hmmm

  • yea that's true :D

who knows maybe they added the dragon to Mulan from Aladdin. idk lol

  • @yatze8000 Ein Jahr vor, hat KHAnimeGirl gesagt:

Ich liebe Disney! Ich will jede Disney Film sehen und ich will alles finden.

Wussten Sie, dass am Anfang der Kleinen Meerjungfrau (the Little Mermaid), Sie können Mickey, Donald, und Goofy sehen!!! Ich versuche immer noch, es zu finden.

  • from about 1:17-1:22 you can see (barely here but on a normal tv much easier) Belle from Beauty and the Beast walking off screen in the bottom right corner, people carrying Puumba from the Lion King near the top, and a guy shaking the rug from Aladdin :]

  • such a beautiful song!

  • Thank you.

  • my favorite song from The hunchbeck of Notre Dame

  • I love the song he sings!

  • Thank you.
