  • Now you have me thinking of Steve in the Great Escape , lol

  • That was a very fun vid, nice job!!!

  • Good camera mount! Got the job done.

  • @VVoodstockRider Glad you like the hawk. It tends to draw equal hate and love. LOL. I'm already wondering what other angles and views I could come up with... *scheming face*

  • @DJCipster4BREAKS Thanks, Cip! It was a fun project with SuburbanRyder. I'm glad it came out so well.

  • @MrThaKing100 Thanks! SuburbanRyder was a big, big help in coming up with this. I can think of ideas, but he's the one who can figure out how to actually do it.

  • Riding Biotch with LJ! But ya, I get motion sickness from this angle. It happens with me, I cant even play some video games as first person shooter without getting sick. Woe is me. Neat concept though LJ!

    Stay Safe Gal!

  • @cdwolf I can't even sit in a hammock and close my eyes without getting motion sickness, so I feel your pain. And thanks, wolf!

  • Fun! What was the name of your bike now? Or was it just same name but with 2?

  • @Itsreload I still haven't named it, actually. There are a lot of contenders for the name, though. I should have a video about that, and let people submit suggestions...

  • I was wondering "What is she doing with that lumber?" lol

    Thanks for the ride :)

  • @p0kerp1aya No problem! I bet it did look ridiculous going down the road. I'll be spray painting it black today. That should help.

  • That video induces a bit of motion sickness.

  • @Fudmottin As long as it doesn't induce seizures! ;-)

  • what halfbuck said very cool and strange because you don't really see the bike just you and it looks like your just out floating there and wizzing down the street very cool are you going to do more like this ?

  • @aeroliner750 I do hope to use this again, but I need to get out to some good twisties first.

  • Neat camera angle, LJ. It reminds me of the TV effects where they have someone over a green screen with moving scenery.

  • @halfbuck Someone else said the same thing. I hadn't noticed it myself, but that's so true! Haha!

  • that was tyte,I was leaning my head with yo turns.good setup

  • @SuperTrav26 Thanks! Hope I didn't make you too dizzy.

  • really good angle, it´s like we are your passenger! I move my head trying to see over you! hehe

    good idea!

  • @azezin0 Thanks! It was fun to do this, too.

  • friggin awesome cam angle LJ :D, bad humming though lol :P, but yeh like wilks said its gonna be crazy seeing the world kinda turn all over the place when you hit twisties

  • @sajakbar Hey, my humming is AWESOME! Whatchu talkin' 'bout?? I do hope to hit some twisties soon with this setup. *mwa ha ha*

  • def a nice angle. gonna be great when you find a nice long set of twisties. really makes you feel like you are leaning with the rider.

  • @Wilks89 That's what I can't wait for! There are some great twisties around here, but there's so much gravel.... Where this would REALLY rock would be on a go kart track...

  • Would be really cool if it was a little higher so we could see over your shoulder better. Great video none the less. Thanks Laurie!

  • @Gyrene45 I agree, but I'm still surprised at how well this turned out. It's almost exactly what I had in mind. On twisty roads, this will be perfect. :-)

  • hehe SR's name is chuck...:)

  • @shobia99 Haha, yeah. He hasn't made any secret of that, or else I would have edited that out.

  • I like the camera setup and the mohawk LJ.

  • @pulse0000 Thanks, pulse!

  • yeah nice hawk.. hehe, i rock one now too but a smaller rubber one... you need to start doing picture in picture with the helmet cam and tail cam... anyways always good to see your videos...

  • @djentangle I do want to do picture in picture, but Windows Movie Maker is unable to do so. :-( I will try using both angles with cut shots, though. That's much more time consuming in the editing process, but can turn out fairly well if you put the effort into it.

  • dam you are comical , nice setup

  • @roninsoul Thanks! And thanks!

  • thanks for the ride :)

  • @chant1018361 Anytime! ;-)

  • Hey, the camera angle is amazing !

  • @smashingbugs Thank you!

  • It looks kind of like you were sitting on your bike in front of a blue screen and the road video was inserted afterward kinda like older movies. lol

  • @krayziesensei lol i thought the same thing

  • @krayziesensei Haha! Now that you mention it, it kinda does! Awesome.

  • That is awesome!!!! I don't think I've ever seen a motorcycle video from that perspective before. With the minor shaking, it actually feels like I'm on the bike with you.

  • @cybrnathan Since I'd never take a passenger in real life (I'm too small), this is the closest you're gonna get! :-)

  • Next you need to make a 'picture in picture' video.

  • @daedalx You have no idea how many times I've wanted to be able to do that. Unfortunately, that's a limitation of Windows Movie Maker (one of many). I will do cut shots in the future, using multiple camera angles; but I can only use one angle at a time.

  • Nothing better than out on the open road on your bike with the wind blowing through your mohawk......lol. Camera angle looks cool LJ...and so does Navythomas8's bag.

  • @RedanWhiteRebel I'm so glad he's still letting me borrow that bag. It's very cute.

  • nice setup on the camera, will be a good learning tool for you!

  • @britex3186 That's actually the main reason I wanted to come up with this, britex. I wanted to see what I was doing when I was riding, and to be able to elicit input from the riding community.

  • love this new cam setup, a little shaky but still pretty good

  • @kindredice I don't think there's much I can do about the shake. It's on a pretty high camera mount. It helps that this bike has much better suspension than my old Ninja 250. This would have never worked on that bike.

  • =D that looks pretty cool! and makes for some realy nice footage too!

  • @Sponge1310 It did turn out even better than I expected.

  • That mohawk rocks!

  • @Hastyle84 Haha, thanks! You tend to either love it or hate it.

  • I really like this camera location!

  • @buickjam Glad to hear it! I hope to use this again in the future.

  • Works really well !!

  • @TKTex1 I was also pleased with how well it came out. It sure does look ridiculous on the back of the bike, though. LOL. I'm going to have to spray paint it black.

  • Nice camera setup.

  • @hawaiisidecar Thank you! It was fun coming up with this. I hope to use it more in the future.

  • That angle made me a bit sea sick ;D haha.

  • @8cuttlefish8 LOL! Sorry about that! I guess it was a little "overboard." :-D

  • cool hair on helmet lol never seen that before

  • @666turbobusa LOL! I get teased about it a lot. It's a favorite accessory of "squids." I just like it for adding girly flair and more visibility in traffic. it certainly attracts attention!
