actually the allens are also part of the strong theory of most of the wonders of the world in the table of archeology.
the problem of the movie is that the movie's allen thing is kinda funky for some reason.
Personally I like all the Indianan Jones movies. and if Harrison still can use the force like he used to do at the 80's, I think It might be nice to see Indiana Jones 5.
It is very obvious that the golden 3 (Spielberg, Lucas and Ford) has so much fun making this movie. And because they're having fun, I was having fun. Indiana Jones 4 rocks, don't let anyone tell you otherwise, and Indy 5 will be coming soon....
@abcbdc it is a directors viewfinder. Instead of looking through a heavy camera for the framing of a shot. You put a a lens on this thing and look for the framing
Hey David Koepp, you idiot. You don't need to balance the audience's appreciation and your own vision in a script. Write a movie that's interesting and fun to watch. Write a movie that YOU would go see. Don't give a shit about the audience. That's why Indy 4 felt like shit. Well, that and the fact that George Lucas had a terrible idea for the story.
@dduval59 To my knowledge David Koepp is awesome, why don't you try writing a better film, Im in video production in college right now and have written my own scripts well one of them is almost finished and it's going to be a huge motion picture if it ever gets made. you've never written a film in your life you've never made a movie in your life leave your opinions to yourself till you've made one it's an art form stop complaining. I loved all of the Indiana Jones films.
indy 4 wasn't THAT bad. The only reason why people hated it was because they nitpick about small things like the monkeys, the gophers, the fridge, and the alien. We have to look at this movie as a whole. Sure the fridge scene and the alien might of been a little far fetched. But being chased by a big boulder, falling out of a plane on a rubber raft, and falling off a cliff on a tank, all with survival isn't far fetched?
you know, i have a feeling they'll attempt to do a fifth that takes place before the fourth, and then the production will fail or be held back. but a fifth would be awesome.
man, anyone who doesn't dig indy 4, isn't a full on indy fan...come on people. the purpose of this movie is fun...it is for kids. it is like phantom menace...it is for the kids too. jaded people like myself need to remember that. i do know that if you put any star wars and indy flicks up against anything else, then it would destroy them for the most part...it's indy.
@dduval59 i see you are very negative. instead of spending your time in disputes with other people's opinions...that's right, opinions, why don't YOU go write something of value instead of spending all your time writing responses like this about posts. then ask yourself who is a failure in the life dept. cheers.
@timothymstern "why don't YOU go write something of value instead of spending all your time writing responses like this about posts" Cuz, hello, I'm a guy who has fun with this stuff.
Indiana Jones 4 was absolutely lousiest Indy movie of all time. "Let's do aliens! Let's do aliens!" Oh christ... Spielberg should have kept his head and refused to film this kind of crap. Hey, maybe they should have gotten Mulder and Scully from X-Files? And Indy fighting with Alien and Predator too? And that horrible amount of CGI... CGI does NOT belong to Indiana Jones movies! It ruined the last bit of the movie completelly. Almost NOTHING looks real in this crap...
Raiders of the Lost Ark kicked total ass. it was one of the greatest most exciting films ever, if not the most exciting. Kingdom of the Crystal Skull sucked dog turds.
@jdkjkjdkjdks yes, they're making indy 5! as of now, steven and george are in the process of finalizing the storyline. can't wait for it to be made. hopefully soon.
Wouldn't it be neat if when Harrison Ford gets too old for the role, if his son takes over, like he takes over the legacy of Indiana Jone? I would like what u other fans thing?
Harrison Ford is the ONLY man to play Indiana Jones, he is never too old to play the iconic figure of adventure!
After Indy 3, I almost thought they would never make a fourth film, until I read an article saying there would be one with Harrison, now in his 60s, finally returning!
So I read no more articles or interviews, didn't even try watching previews, I just waited till opening night, and I was completely blown away!

Indiana Jones 4 WAS FUCKING BULLSHIT. Its easily the worst and most elaborate film and was a major flop. Anybody who thinks that 4 is the best dosent have a fucking clue about screenplay
i hope there still be more indiana movies! 6 more perhaps?hahaha! long live harrison ford, george lucas, and steven spielberg! indiana jones won't be the same if one them is missing..
I absolutely love all the four Indy films! I almost thought Indy 3 was the last, but I wanted more adventures for Indy, then 20 years later, Indy 4 reopened my memories and enjoyment of the original films. Thanks Steven and George, and please bring the fifth movie!
indy 4 was GREAT, sure it wasn't what some expected but that was because some people's EXPECTATIONS were too dam HIGH!, face it it had been 20 or so years since last crusade and the audience expected too much and hadn't been in touch with the character for so long that they became too easily disappointed. but that doesn't excuse the obvious mistakes they made like lucas's ideas of ALIENS!. anyway besides that i humbly welcome another one and hope they can make won that satisfies us (ALL).
I agree, I went into the film without having seen any of the others and so for me there was not any expectation and I loved it, I have subsequently seen the others and I still think this film is brilliant
man it was ok but for the love of god, hideing in a frige ? massive killer ants cgi monkeys and other animals and the wedding all really done badly OH YEAH ALMOST FORGOT ALIENS WTF!???? no no no no no! georg lucas dam you!
i agree that lucas totally lost it and steven spielberg resisted but still they managed to make a story that blended all the elements from the previous three into a fun roller coaster ride to give thanks to the FANS!!!
I enjoyed the movie, and I think it was VERY well done. I also absolutely love the Indiana Jones series too though, I would definately watch any more sequels to the story!!
I think you are being a bit harsh for saying that! I loved the movie and I can understand why Geogre Lucas set if in the 50 and have b kind of feeling to it. GREAT MOVIE, BRING ON INDY 5

my mom, twin sister, and i grew up on all 3 of the Indiana Jones films
they are films we love to watch and enjoy as a family
through the action, comedy, and suspense of all of them
so to see the 4th one in theaters was one of the greatest experiences i've had as a family
and i can't wait until the 5th one where we can relive it again
thank you Indiana Jones!!!!
