How'd you manage the grass waving?

A really long time ago, before my steam was hacked and I got a new acc. My gmod had a custom theme featuring a gnome and some linkin park music (the music actually played in the menu) So it would be cool if you could learn how to do that and put this same music in the BG of this background, then my gmod would be complete. Or, I guess I could learn how and make my own variant, but it would be cooler if you did because you're the original creator of this map, I guess.

As cool as this is, I really hate the fact that since I have so many addons, it takes forever to load a map. Meaning if I want to play gmod, I have to wait like 10 minutes to get to your menu. I've happily had it for half a year, however.

It would be better to record this as a Video and turn it into a VTF animated, It would reduce the loading times that it takes for a map.

@Demoist I have to totally disagree with this VTF animated thing you sugest. You have to record it at minimum 30 FPS to have a smooth animation. Then you have to scale everything so that it fits every solution (minimum 2 VTF's normal + Widescreen) and you have to save it without quality loss... in the end this thing would be double the size of the map. Trust me ... I'm a mapper I know that stuff.

@Demoist And again I have to disagree, people download this because they want an high quality background MAP instead of an slightly pixelated texture. Quality above quantity is the keyword. I don't really care if my Gmod takes 10 seconds more to load the map while starting up. Still you can do it the one way, or the other way, every mapper can decide... but I think most will stick to the map technique instead of the texture (additional work, lesser quality, but slightly better startup times)

To make it so the song can play with the background, find an MP3 of it, rename it to gamestartup01 dot mp3 and place it in your garrysmod/garrysmod/sound/ui/
