It's not fair knowing these people are waiting on a new chance at life, when we have so many potential life savers out there who haven't chosen or who are unaware on how they can help. It's one of the best gifts anyone can give. Here's hoping many people see this and think seriously about giving a second chance at life for people like MJ. I for one will be signing up on the Donor Register and hope many others will do the same. Keep up those smiles MJ and thanks Denis for another great video.

omg this makes me cry I met her in sick childrens hospital and weve been friends for many years I was not aware that needed a kidney..I honestly wish I could help her but I had a transplant in the past myself, I hope she eventually gets a donor!!! <3

I signed mine a few months ago without hesitation. It's my hope that, in the not too distant future, we'll also be able to grow organs in the lab to supplement the short supply of donated organs we already have. My best wishes go to MJ in the hopes that she receives a kidney soon.

I'm a registered donor (but that's over here in Europe, so..) and I'm looking into registering as a stem cell donor in 2012 (but I'll have to figure out how to bypass the hurdle of my being gay first)

I have been an organ donor for years. I have never understood the selfish people who refuse to do it. If my passing can help others have a life, or a better life, what is the problem.

I also want to point out two things that can be donated without dying or hurting your existence, Kidneys and bone marrow. Think about donating either while you are alive to see what it can bring.

I'm already an organ donor. I think more people should be organ donors. You should always do what you can for others. You never know when you're gonna need someone to help you. You are an awesome young man Denis and MJ will be in my thoughts and prayers. Happy Holidays.

Maria-Jose is lucky to have such a good friend like you Denis who really cares and supports her. A real friend. Some people turn away as soon as they realize how sick their friend is because they don't want to have to deal with all the emotional and physical ups and downs their friend is going though. I've always filled out my organ donor card, but this year I got a new health card *and* drivers license on the same day and somehow I forgot to fill it out. After watching this video I found donor cards online at organdonations dot ca. I've printed mine out and signed it. Thanks for the reminder!

Started donating blood and registered as a donor when I turned 18. Being in healthcare, for the Red Cross and as a future nurse, I know how important matching organic material is to keep us all healthy. And as long as there are no perfect replica's coming out of research, we need real human donors to keep people alive.
