@BloodyHoneyBunny Pretty much everything is better! This one is a let down in my opinion. First of all, the stage lack colors and atmosphere, the music suck and are unreconiseable and the turtles sound all the same. I don't think this game really need a remake anyway but if they want to make something cool with it they should have put the SNES version and make it four player (with the arcade music). Also was that really necessary to make it in 3D? How about HD graphic like Street fight 2 HD?
no its no that is because if they go to do a remake evrething must to be change but damn neo knigth riders kick ass so hard then the diarrea go to come out for youre dick
I think the reason why they could'nt get the music for it was copyright reasons. Even though Konami does'nt own TMNT license they own the music so there was probably legal issues with that.
The same with Goldeneye recently, remake yes but a lot is different because music and other things still belong to Rare even though it's a james bond license. Thats probably why the music was'nt reused or remade. Sorry guys.
Of course the music for this remake isn't as good as the original, but the music for this level as well as the boss battle music is pretty decent, I think.
Wow....why did they get rid of the old music COMPLETELY? Don't get me wrong, I wasn't expecting them to use the exact same music from the SNES game, but they could've at least given us lame remixes of the old music, instead of completely-different lame music. Neon Night Riders had the best music in the game....and they RUINED it.
Re-Shelled wasn't that bad, really, but the things it lacks REALLY set it back by a ton. If they had included more recognizable remixes of the old music (as in, something that actually SOUNDS like the old music) as well as included the SNES-exclusive stages, this could have been a pretty decent remake. Those two things are what set this remake back more than anything else, in my opinion.
He sounds to me kinda like Baby Animal from Muppet Babies - voiced by Dave Coulier (Full House) and also sounds like his "America's Funniest People" character called "Jackalope" LOL!
Music is nowhere near as cool as the original. visuals are more complex but yeah the angles are kinda lacking. all in all just not as cool as the snes original but then again what is as cool as the old school these days anyway?
They didnt use the console version because apparently of copyright legal bullshit. Apparently Nintendo own the rights to the console game :O. Well it was made for nintendo... Hmm Also its a remake of the arcade but i guess more legal Bullshit prevented ubisoft from obtaining the rights to the music as well or maybe they didnt want to pay for the music rights to use it in the game?? anyways i like the game for what its worth :D

Seriously, they could do amazing 3D camera changes in a 2D game but not a 3D one? this game is stupid.
slimjeans916 2 years ago
Apparently they based it off the arcade version. Which sounds to be the weaker of the two. Why they didn't use the console version, is beyond me?
