I grew up listening to Zeppelin, Sabbath, Clapton, Aerosmith, Hendrix. Then Rock & Roll seemed to die. Thank God for grunge rock bands like these groups.I'm Still Alive. And a shout out to Mr. Neil Young. His album, Decade, is still one of the BEST EVER!
Honestly the first time i've heard this song was on a radio station that was in 05'. They where making fun of a fat girl that couldn't stop eating. They kept playing it over and over making fun of her.
I can't explain how much i wish i was alive to live through great music like this! oh well i'm listening to it now, and that's all that matters :) keep grunge alive xD
God damm I love this song,it's so deep most people don't even get the powerful message in this song. NO MATTER HOW MUCH WEALTH YOU EARN OR STEAL IF YOU LOSE EMPATHY FOR OTHERS YOU WILL ALWAYS BE STARVING AND POOR IN YOUR SOUL!
im good friends with eddie's niece (i live in eastern washington) and i heard he's a dick! whatever though haha beautiful music and a some great musicians=]
@magillagorilla4sale and justin beiber has the gall to campare himself to him, just ludicris... this has been my faourite Pearl Jam song since I was a kid. Always found it soothing. huh...
I wish I was a teenager in this time period, not the early 2000s, I was like 7 or 8 when this came out but I remember my sister playing this and I loved this song. Badass, just pure badass....
@Antihippie24 I was a teen in the 90's and it really was a great time to be a teen from a musical standpoint. For me as a Black teen to relate to themes in rock music, more specifically Pearl Jam and TOTD, more than rap music was alot for some of my peers to handle. I just did not grow up in poor inner city areas, so I did not relate to the themes in some rap songs. That didnt make me less of a Black person and I didnt want to be anything else, I just related to this music thematically.
@MrGossardX I agree I am Black myself and love this I was a teen in the 90's I lov it today the background music is awesome and chris connel has a powerful voice I listen 2 all kinds of music if it sounds gud i'll listen 2 it. It dosent make me less Black, Im just very appreciative of all music. Im not in2 the stereotype of all black people listen 2 black music only.
Excellent piece of work!! Thank you very much for Sharing!!!!!

@Ekywsaq Actually, he played it live with Chester Bennington, not Linkin Park. Chester and Chris are close friends. And just because you're a fan of grunge music doesn't mean you need to shoot down Chester because he's part of a band YOU don't like. He's a fucking awesome vocalist and they did a fantastic cover. The dude probably grew up on or was influenced by grunge. Personally, if I ever had a chance to perform with Chris Cornell or Alice in Chains (and Chester has) I'd jump at the chance.
I saw chris corn-L cover this song with LINKIN PARK !!!! I'll fuckin never forgive him unless he brings soundgarden to play in my house! Dear god chris what were you even thinkin!? Playin this song with them guys is like takin a vampire to church!
Simply Amazing. Two of the greatest 90's bands together. This is what I call a supergroup. Weird how things come full circle. Soundgarden Splits up, them reforms. Pearl Jam outlasts all Seatle grunge yet takes a small hiatus and the drummer here Started out in Soundgarden and is now the longest running Pearl Jam Drummer (Matt Cameron).
