it is a good thought but i think it is a bit ahead of its time. mankind still lives in the dark ages.we still put more value in gold and sutch dribble then human life. when mankind gets rid of the monatary system and leads more af an anarcist life style ( not chaos) we might be able to get rid of war, but still we r over populating the earth with no end in sight

thought . is what we need evon useing gold backed montary system its not the gold by its self that has value . it is the thought of gold while beeing a good condecter of electricty not rusting and looking pretty is of no other practial use.i did say good thought but a bit ahead of its time. gold paying some contractor to make profits in stead of the public useing it to help build it
