Snagglepuss is the Cowardly Lion from Wizard of Oz.

Originally, Snagglepuss was orange, and somewhat of a "sneaky" character, whose intentions weren't always honorable, often taking advantage of Quick Draw McGraw in several cartoons (as well as Snooper & Blabber and Augie Doggie). When Yogi Bear suddenly became the star of his own series in January 1961, Snag became one of his regular segments, undergoing a change in color and personality {now he was an "innocent bystander", often caught up in ridiculous situations, or chased by "Major Minor").

@officialcalummenzies That clip isn't unbelievably racist. It's not racist at all. It's just poking fun at how Chinese and other Oriental peoples talk, that's all. Snagglepuss's sterotypical impersonation of a Chinaman wasn't meant to be racist or cruel. As a matter of fact, these sterotypical accents and images don't offend most Asian-Americans.
