Why, why, why does it take me like 7 hours to write a paper and then like 12,000 to format and do stupid things like running heads. Seriously if so many people are having such trouble with this format why not change it? Just center the heading, that would be great.
It was very helpful, however it would be much easier if you insert the page numbers first. This way, you don't have to go through your complicated process of adding them later.

@linacarter yes, but within a few months of publishing it, they had a large list of corrects and recalled their books for an updated one at little or no cost to you for a limited time. There is a large document of the corrections to their typos online somewhere, I think.
@LetsGoCooley because it's some bullshit and i feel your pain. APA, MLA, ECT... I HATE IT.

You should have setup the header using a blank document. You have made this more convoluted than it needed to be.

Page 41 of the APA 6th Edition Manual shows "Running head: TITLE OF WORK" actually runs on all pages

@linacarter That was a publishing error by APA. The Online Writing Lab on the Purdue is how I found out.
