Man okay my i7 930 @ 4ghz only gives my 179 fps and this is with a 5970 OC'd to 881 core clock and 1236 mem clock

@Soccercrazyigboman - Open Catalyst Control Center, go to 3D, go to All, find Catalyst A.I. - set it to Advanced, find Wait for Vertical Sync - set it to Always Off, then click Apply and Ok. See if it helps...

found the solution, I deleted the icon Steam put up there and made another icon from my steam app then added -novsync to tthe target. :) problem solved.

my cpu is bottlenecking my 5970 though. Phenom II X4 @ 3.6ghz

Hey I have an HD5850, I can run the game on Ultra Shader quality with 4x AA quite smoothly. Just wondering since you're running the fastest card on the planet why you haven't pushed the settings to Maximum for the benchmark?

@DanielChe6 - Hey, I didn't use AA to be able to compare the results to nVidia graphics cards. AA looks different on ATi and nVidia, also has a different hit to performance.

@arvutihull Actually it'll decrease the FPS. It's way heavier because it combines the older COH with the new Versions. The Maps and units are more detailed especially the British and the Elite Axix, and yes, the graphic improves with the new physic and texture. My 8800 Ultra used to run about 180 FPS with all maxed out before the new patch, and now it only runs less than 50 FPS. I'm thinking about upgrading it, but not sure between the 5970 or the 480. Performance or Budget :)
