  • That sounded pretty freaking good.. oh my gosh....

  • My middle school (6,7,8) is playing that

They should have a Bari sax machine

  • The drumming is all wrong. It's waaay too simplified.

  • So thats what it supposed to sound. Can't wait to play it.

  • I wantest to hearest thou low brass.

  • High School, yes it was great!

  • the accompaniment rhythym the 4th time of the trumpet solo is wrong and tuning/priority is an issue. but other than that it was alright

  • rhythmically, u guys kicked my high school band's ass, but it seems the trumpets are kicking down some of the partials, while we kicked some off them up. so meh! >P

  • guys remember this is a high school band ppl...

  • the band isn't bad, soloist needs to learn how to breathe. check out Dave Stahl's version. It's up another fifth and ends on a double D. Ansolutely precise high notes, and the band was tight as shit!

  • omg... the trumpet soloists' tuning is horrible from 0:40...

  • sorry, I mean the whole band tunes horrible... don't you know those little tuning machines where you live??

  • well....i agree. my ears hurt a little

  • You guys did great on this song! Were working on it but its not going so well.

  • This band did a fine job on this tune. Although my favorite will always remain Future Corps in Disney World's Epcot, this performance is a fine one, as well. Outstanding job, Mr. Roland Jones, working with your students!

  • Overall, this sounded very good! I do believe the first trumpet solo could have been a lot smoother, but the soli totally made up for that! Keep it up guys!

  • AMAZING song were playing brass machine, but i wish we could play it as fast as u guys are playing it, it sounds better.

  • Great video. Where is Mr. Roland Jones now. I remember him from the late 1980's when he was at Rutgers University playing the Keyboard with his friend Dione from St Thomas Island. Also, I remember when he was "An Artist in Residence" in St. Thomas Islands in the late 1980's. Mr. Jones made great music. He played for Alexis and Jackie. He taught music at the local school in New Brunswick. Where is he now? I hope he hasn't left music

  • No, he hasn't! He is my band teacher, at my Private Highschool here in Houston, TX. He is very funny and very cool. He is nice, too. Do you have any idea what his main/first instrument is?

  • 1 guess, french horn XD

  • The piano is his main instrument. Tell him to write me a response. I would love to hear from him. Is he teaching near Houston-Tillotson?

  • I concur

  • He was my teacher in Jersey City, 1997 1998 he plays the Piano very well he also plays the Baritone which if I remember correctly is what he played in the military band.
