@senk8drol U dont seem to know a lot about genetics its all pretty random since we dont know the backround of the ferrets in question we dont what genes they could possibly be carrying

If you eat meat and are a human being I don't see any problem you should have with the fact that a carnivorous animal is eating meat

Ferrets are obligate carnivores, unlike dogs and cats, meaning they consume ONLY meat. They hunt prey just like their cousins, mink and otter. However, ferrets cannot digest plants, grains, fruits, or sugars, and doing so causes adrenal cancers and insulinoma. That is why 99% of commercial canned and crunchy foods are NOT suitable for ferrets. There are a few choices that are acceptable, such as Innova EVO -- but a raw diet of whole prey including meat, organs, bone, etc. is healthiest.
