Your not supposed to pop a stye, it reacts the same as a pimple when popped, thus making it prone to attract more bacteria which most likely will result in another eye infection.
I have a stye now and mine is on the inside and outside.. Put stye drops in UR eye then close UR eye for a while in put a WARM cloth on ur eye and it should be better... Mine is :)
@babyblueqwerty i use to get them after i start eating mackeral fish you get in tins, i think it's because of the mercury not the fish. i have started eating manuka honey and i never get them now. you can use honey mixed in water and then use them in your eyes aswell. honey is antibacterial and is the best thing. rose water is also antibacterial and can use that for your eyes aswell, i hope this helps.

wow, okay I get alot of styes because I wear contacts and i have one super sensitive eye, just run warm water from the tap over a washcloth... ring the washcloth out, if you can touch the washcloth to your inner wrist without burning, then its safe to put it on your eye. you should change the washcloth everyday to avoid recontamination, you should hold it there for about 15-20 minutes up to 4-6 times a day, it also will get rid of the itch when it starts healing.

Get some q-tips and some no tears johnsons baby shampoo (i know, but trust me) moisten the qtip with warm water and then put a little bit of shampoo on it, and scrub the lining of our eye (top and bottom) gently. flip and repeat. This helps till you can see a DOCTOR.
I get styes pretty often, and what I do is I take a hard boiled egg (that is still hot) and I rub it on my eye for 10 minutes 3 times a day. That helps and it make your stye go down within 4 days.

I used to get them constantly when I was younger. I had to have 5 separate surgeries to remove stubborn ones that wouldn't "drain" on their own from hot compresses. It's something that I eventually outgrew, thank goodness, but I know how you feel. They're annoying and can hurt when they're swollen. Go to a good eye doctor and he should be able to numb up your lid and scrape off the stye. I only had be put under anesthesia when I was younger than 12, so I'm sure you won't have to be.

Hi ! I know uhad it long time ago , but my granny taught me to rub garlic on it ( or around your lower eyelid ). Also , u can hold a wet but cooled tea bag of chamomile on it. Never pop it 'cause it will get worse . It's useless to massage it ... it will just hurt a lot and itch :D
My dad is a Doctor he told me that styes are caused by makeup or dust in your eyelid duct thingy and it gets infected I have one right now and it kills my dad said to just massage it by puting my finger on it and pushing down mine is on the top so if yours is on the bottom push up also tea bags and hot compress I was also told rubbing gold on it or rinsing with milk anywaya good luck to all us styers:(
If you ever get another. Go to ur doctor. If the sty is on your bottom lid, you can get a prescrition eye-drop to get rid of it. If it's on the top, you can get a pill prescription...
Btw, the way you can tell when you're getting a sty (before it swells to a size where you can see it and feel it) is if your eye is constantly itching... If it seems like something is constantly bugging your eye/eyes, go to a mirror and check the very edge of each eyelid for swelling or pimple-like growths.
Put a lemon seed over your eye. A lemon seed, stick a needle in it (NOT THROUGH IT), and rub it over the outside of your eye, where it is, it's honestly working.

take a cotton pad(not puff - a cotton pad**) and put some table salt into hot water. soak the cotton pad in the hot salt water and hold it on your eye for 15 minutes. Do this every hour and your stye should be gone really soon! :)

I have TERRIBLE stye problems. I had to go to my eye doctor, because I get 2-3 a day! They hurt so badly and I wear contacts, which makes it worse! they sell eye-lid cleaners at Walmart and other places that help TREMENDOUSLY. I don't remember what company mine are, but they're in the contact aisle next to eye drops and stuff. They help! You have to use them at the end of your shower only if you're taking a hot shower!

Seriously, what you are supposed to do is wet a washcloth with warm/hot water, not boiling, but like faucet hot. Then apply it to your eye for about 15 minutes. This allows for the area to warm, increasing the number of white blood cells to pass the infected area, increasing the chance of it going away faster.
My dad gets those all the time! You have to get it lanced, I bet. They just slice a tiny slit in it and drain it. Definitely don't touch it with your hands though!
ok so for the medical treatment is the use of antibiotics to kill the Staphylococcus aureus bacterial infection ro it could be caused for the blocking of an oil gland at the base of the eyelash, styes will last from up to 3 weeks to 2 years without treatment, and only up to 1 week if its treated properly with medical support like the use of erythromycin ophthalmic ointment, chloramphenicol or Amoxicillin (antibiotics) or draining (surgery) these are the best ways to take it down
Just put a warm compress on it a few times a day whenever you're free for about 10 minutes. (note: if it starts leaking stuff that's GOOD! lol. just don't squeeze it out, let it leak ON IT'S OWN)

I have the remedy: Gold.
Rub gold (real gold not white or fools) on the stye for 15-20seconds a few times a day. Gold is the byproduct of a bacteria that eats rock. Trust me.

My dad is a Doctor he told me that styes are caused by makeup or dust in your eyelid duct thingy and it gets infected I have one right now and it kills my dad said to just massage it by puting my finger on it and pushing down mine is on the top so if yours is on the bottom push up also tea bags and hot compress I was also told rubbing gold on it or rinsing with milk anywaya good luck to all us styers:(

If you ever get another. Go to ur doctor. If the sty is on your bottom lid, you can get a prescrition eye-drop to get rid of it. If it's on the top, you can get a pill prescription...
Btw, the way you can tell when you're getting a sty (before it swells to a size where you can see it and feel it) is if your eye is constantly itching... If it seems like something is constantly bugging your eye/eyes, go to a mirror and check the very edge of each eyelid for swelling or pimple-like growths.

Put a lemon seed over your eye. A lemon seed, stick a needle in it (NOT THROUGH IT), and rub it over the outside of your eye, where it is, it's honestly working.

stye is really gross. you have to take antibiotics. do not pop it. it will only get worse. also good eye hygiene is necessary for it not to return.

Havin a stye sucks i just took care of mine yesterday. i could not Get rid of it it kept gettin worse so i got surgery now my eye is hurtin & wores then b 4 but it should b back 2 its own look in a few days.

This might be too late but i've had so many before and I have so many treatments for it.
take a cotton pad(not puff - a cotton pad**) and put some table salt into hot water. soak the cotton pad in the hot salt water and hold it on your eye for 15 minutes. Do this every hour and your stye should be gone really soon! :)
oh yeah... and if you want it gone fast.. no makeup..

DUDE, you might not believe this, but 10 days after this video, NEVER knowing what a stye was, NEVER having it, i now have 7. 4 on one eye and 3 on the other. it basically feels like im being stabbed in the eye with a fork, 24/7...

I have TERRIBLE stye problems. I had to go to my eye doctor, because I get 2-3 a day! They hurt so badly and I wear contacts, which makes it worse! they sell eye-lid cleaners at Walmart and other places that help TREMENDOUSLY. I don't remember what company mine are, but they're in the contact aisle next to eye drops and stuff. They help! You have to use them at the end of your shower only if you're taking a hot shower!

Seriously, what you are supposed to do is wet a washcloth with warm/hot water, not boiling, but like faucet hot. Then apply it to your eye for about 15 minutes. This allows for the area to warm, increasing the number of white blood cells to pass the infected area, increasing the chance of it going away faster.

I had one of those.
I went to the doctor for it and he told me a way to get rid of it.
It took a couple days but it worked perfectly.
You have to hard boil an egg.
Then hold it against your eyelid
(obviously not when it's suuuuuuper hot)
You could always wrap it in a towel too. (that's what I did.
A hot wash cloth doesn't work cause it doesn't stay hot enough for long enough. But the egg will stay hot for a long time.

i have had both :/ keep a hot compress on it;
butttt;; you have to get the internal stye surgically removed :/ and yyou should only have it for at most. a week; but i had mine for over a year ://

My mother had one, so you need to put a very warm compress on it (WITH A COMPLETELY CLEAN CLOTH) as often as possible, throughout the day.
Or, you could use chamomile tea bags, again, as often as possible.

ok so for the medical treatment is the use of antibiotics to kill the Staphylococcus aureus bacterial infection ro it could be caused for the blocking of an oil gland at the base of the eyelash, styes will last from up to 3 weeks to 2 years without treatment, and only up to 1 week if its treated properly with medical support like the use of erythromycin ophthalmic ointment, chloramphenicol or Amoxicillin (antibiotics) or draining (surgery) these are the best ways to take it down

I had one of those too. I feel your pain!!
Just put a warm compress on it a few times a day whenever you're free for about 10 minutes. (note: if it starts leaking stuff that's GOOD! lol. just don't squeeze it out, let it leak ON IT'S OWN)
