very unrealistic in the game ahaha those infantry would not have made and been torn apart, best thing to do is fuckin mass produce tanks creating a line between you and the enemy then a fuckload of fighers THENN anti air cuase chances are there gonna start sendin planes to take out your tanks pop a couple of those babys around where you need too then pepper their babes with tanks learned this stragy in a matter of games and hasent failed me once ahahahahahahaha

i own the game and know that the game presented here was totally unrealistic.

A: unit and building production was way too fast throughout

B: the infantry men in the begining would be seen on the enemys screen and moved way to fast

C: the enemy didnt advnce, when assaults had stoped

D: the enemy seemed to only use tanks

Erm. Cause battles need to take place within 40 minutes usually. not a day. and there are also smaller maps, this once showcases the strategy well. AND MOST IMPORTANTLY. cause its a fucking video game, if you want realism you're in the wrong place for it.

@Conicalnewt well there have been some good rts games on xbox (Halo Wars, Command an Conquer ,Supreme Commander and EndWar) first you should download a demo for say halo wars or endwar or command and conquer 3 before buying a console rts game such as ruse.

@Dave308439 It's never tricky for OpenGL games, but RUSE uses Direct X so don't hold your breath. Instead, I advice Mac users to simply boot their computer in Windows and play.

I can't shake the feeling that either they'll limit the amount of stunts you can pull off to balance the game, and make its best feature rather stunted... Or the amount of ruses you can pull off will be excessive and everything will be chaotic.

Also kinda looks like a game that you need to be able to quickly hotkey stuff and mutitask well...
