  • @nunaavane

Thats fine. When I lived in the Carribean, I used a plant called Cerese otherwise known as Aloe Vera for my skin too, you can try that if the Evening Primrose doesn't work cos' most peoples skin react differently.

  • @maliciosamelissa thanks for the peppermint tip, will try it next time i do my mix :-)

  • All I can say is thank you Nuna for this video. I am going to make it right this minute! I am in year 2 of my hair journey and just lost a chunk of hair at the back of my scalp as well as on outbreak all over. I can use this on my scalp and I love that it is natural!! Smart thinking.

  • @ldpd2009 thanks to you for watching, hope you'll get that fixed

  • as a mother u can imagine how terrible it is to see ur child suffer with this skin condition, so thanks very much and God bless you :)

  • @GlamStr3ss amen ! i do know indeed, i just had my daughter back after a 5 days far from me, and she was having it on the back on her knees...

2 days after application it is almost gone :-) it works (for her at least :s)

  • You have no idea how helpful this is. My niece suffers from eczema and whenever i call home to ask about my niece, my family tells me that her eczema is very bad and she itches so much and even gives her arms to my mom so she could itch them for her. She cannot speak yet but she says "hurt...hurt." She is only two years old and it breaks my heart. They have tried cortisone cream with no results. I am hoping this will work! Before trying this butter, did you too try the cortisone cream?

  • @88niteowl88 hi there, i never tried cortisone on my bb, but trust me : this here WORKS ! i have seen it again about 3 weeks ago, she started to have a bad eczema area in the middle of her knee (back part)

2 days after applying it heavily on the area, it was GONE !

All the best to your sweet niece

  • Omg i love ur accent!

  • @Diabianeya you're more than welcome :-)

  • This video is great. You seem like a pro!! Have you ever thought about going into business? I am currently using a great shea butter from SheAyurvedics, but your's looks very inviting also

  • @mineralizeitnow thanks a lot :-) am currently thinking about some kind of a project :-) never heard of SheAyurvedics tks for the tip :-)

  • hi chica,I would add vitamin e oil to preserve so it doesnt mould-if you add water to the mix to make it moisturizer on it own.x

  • @ssikmoi88 thanks a lot girl :-) but i dont keep it, lool, we use it everyday so it really doesn't have time to mould :-)

    tks for the tips

  • I love shea butter but I mix mines with Jojoba oil, It works great too. Now I know why my knee does not hurt after I apply the shea butter pure I have had problems with my knees and I can not get diagnosed, but after I use this shea butter I do not use as many aspirins as before. Thanks for this vid.

  • 2 months? Are you serious? I'm so going to try this out!! My eczema is at its worst right now. I'm so ashamed to show my skin to others. Thank you so much for sharing nuna!

  • thanks for making this video, I will be trying this recepi could you please tell me where you bought your shea butter? I know that coastal scents sells it, but do you know if iys good quality? I dont know how to tell if it is real shea butter or not, thanks for your help..

  • @MegaDamarys you're welcome, hope it will help :-)

as i said in the video, my father bought it in MALI, Africa, so i don't know the price, sorry

yeah i heard the coastal scents one is good :-)

  • Thank you for sharing that my son is 2yrs old and he has a bad case of eczema I will starte using your recipe a.s.a.p.!!!

  • @las0325 you're welcome, hope it will help :-)

  • hey i just have some questions , first of all i just wanna know where can i get shea butter from ??? actually i live in canada .. and another ques , how do u apply it on ur body ?? i mean do apply it on ur body and then take a shower or the body will absorb it so no need to take a shower or ... how ??? ..

    Thnx alot :))))

  • love it, Ive been mixing with olive oil, but Im now gonna try almond,

  • @2bleavin yeah, hope you'll like it too :-)

  • That's two tablespoons of shea. 1.5 - 2 tablespoons of almond oil. Thanks Nuna! I'll let u know how it goes. Hope goes smooth like butter!!

  • @trinasmi loool, hope too :-)

patiently waiting for your update :-)

  • Thanks for the recipe... simple is definitely better! I shall definitely give this a try as smelly soaps and creams dont get on well with my skin :(

    Once again Thanks :)

  • @CraftyCreationz hey you are more than welcome, if ever you use it for few weeks let me know how you like it :-)

  • I still have it. I use Triamcinoline ointment, it's ok. and I take healthy hair, skin & nails

pills and they made a big difference, if only I can stop scratching.

  • @pjojo451 yeah good ! try to think about something else when you start scratching....

  • @pjojo451 I used to have eczema in my body an psoriasis in my scalp, I started using a pomade called eukadar its components are( calcipotriol), I bought in a pharmacy in mexico and it haven't come back in six years.

  • I remember when I was young, the doctor told my mom to use ivory soap, so it could dry my eczema up. He didn't know what he was talking about lol. I have eczema. I've had it all my life, since I was 3 yrs. old.

  • @pjojo451 wow ! so did you find a treatment now that you are older?

  • Tea tree oil is good for eczema too. I put a single drop of the oil on a q-tip or cotton ball and swab it on the affected areas, I put cortizone cream on top. The effects of ecezema are disappering with-in days. I think I will make this shea butter and add a few drops of tea tree oil for my baby. Thanks!

  • @Csmart01 oooh thanks so so much for the tip ! i will definitely add it for her mix :-)

  • @nunaavane

Your welcome! Let us know how it works for you.

  • my niece has been suffering with eczema for sooo long. thanks !

    where are you from?

  • @rayviebabiie23 you're welcome, hope she'll be fine :-)

check out my FAQ video for the answer on this one :-)

  • Thank you. : ) My adorable nephew has horrible eczema...this will be great for him. I might have it too...: ( i am not sure yet. trying to get rid of the rashes in the back of my hands....somehow the ones on my eyes went away.

  • @IampureSol great some went away, please let me know when you test it on your nephew ok? praying for this baby boy :-)

  • Thank you very much for sharing your recipe. We too have eczema and I find shea butter, coconut oil, and almond oil are great moisturizers for eczema. I have also been taking the milk from oatmeal and add to your recipe, along with a couple drops of tea tree oil to serve as a preservative.

  • @muniyrah well done ! how do you like your mix then? tks so much for watching & keeping me updated :-)

  • @Spurslady123 really? lol, so glad then, good job to you :-)

  • Thanks for this info. My son has severe eczema and I just ordered some raw black soap and raw shea butter to try. I sooooo hope it works!

  • @mrsforte555 i really hope it will work too :-) let me know after a couple weeks of use ok? thanks a lot

  • @nunaavane I've been using the black soap and raw shea butter whipped with olive oil, aloe vera, and beeswax and his skin is sooooo much better. I've stopped using the prescription steroid and I've opted to use over the counter cortisone on the spots that were really inflamed. Thank you so much for sharing your mixture. I've read a lot about sweet almond oil being added but since my son is allergic to almonds I can't try that. Thanks again. It's working like nothing I've ever tried.

  • you might have mentioned this in the video but i watched it twice and missed it if you did: where did you purchase your shea butter?

  • @sweepee2005 lol, yes in the beginning i say "my parents buy it in Africa, lol, and i said i didn't knew either it was in Mali or Senegal' loool

  • great & art videos..ciao

  • @1krzypraz tks, i really hope it will work for him too, let me know :-)

  • hello! do you speak french?

  • @naturellili hi, yes do i do :-)

  • thank you so much! for this video my son has eczema as well and i use pure shea butter by itself ,i will try mixing sweet almond oil to it maybe it will be easier to apply

  • @Tenco2001 absolutely ! it will be so better to apply, just make sure you don't put more SB than almond oil :-)

  • @nunaavane ok . and thank you

  • @Tenco2001 lol, no pb :-)

  • Sistah Nunna,

You need to do a COOKING VIDEO...........Your favorite SNACK or Dinner......

    Carmencita

  • @MissFalero1211 loooooool, ok i'll TRY MY BEST

  • They claim sweet almond oil has vitamin E in it already or

     high in vitamin E

  • this is a very informative video

  • @misscnr1 thanks

  • Yeah I wondered if its the real thing being sold in the BSS. Where is the best place to go to get some shea butter so I know I'm getting the real deal.

  • Do you know why some shea butters are white looking and some are more yellow. How can you be sure you are getting all natural raw shea butter? I've bought mine from my local beauty supply store and it says on the label that its from Ghana, but its yellow. Do you think its the real thing?

  • @jcrite0304 the off white shea is in it's raw pure form. whereas the yellow is raw shea with palm oil added to it. why they add palm oil to shea i don't know but the palm oil gives it the yellow color. do beware of faek shea that is sold in bss.

  • @jcrite0304 from the research that i have done shea butter color can depend on the color of the nut. I have gone to "african" stores that sell pure shea butter and they also tell me the same. Though some knock offs may have other oils in it most just depend on the color of the nut.

  • @alwaysbored411 agreeing also with that, i heard that !

  • @jcrite0304 well in our place the real raw one is the yellow ! because in my country where they also make SB, the white one is refined whereas the yellow is due to the seeds ! so i always go for yellow (personal experience) lol

  • My son has eczema and I love it for his skin. Keeps his skin moisturized all day. I also used it when I was pregnant on my tummy and NO stretch marks! Plus my tummy never got itchy from all the stretching. A keeper!

  • @nisey088 SAME THING HERE ! ! no stretch marks here ! ! it wasss soooo great for my tommy ! ! def a keeper

  • Thank so much...i will try it because my big daughter has atopic dermatitis...her skin is super dry ...

  • @chachi1809 i really hope it will work for her as well as it worked for my daughter : example, i left for 3 days for London, & her father was not using the moisturizer on her ! I came back...eczema was starting back ! lol, so i will def do it all along her growth :-)

  • awesome I am gonna use it on myself :)

    Thanks darling

  • @weplay4u you're welcome, i use hers also, so she is always like : mummy, who touched my cream moisturizer? hahahaha

  • @nunaavane I have suggested this recipe to my friend who has a 6 month old baby with Eczema. The poor thing keeps scratching all day and her mama keeps rubbing Cetaphil on him coz the Doc said so.

  • @weplay4u ohh poor baby ! i hope it will help her :-)

  • I still think it's crazy that ads come on before only your vids.

  • @pjanae29 really? because i see the add before every youtube partner ! ! so maybe that's the thing, they place it for partners... well if you are talking about the little horizontal bar that you can close by clicking on the "x" ...

  • Thanks 4 sharing...Another gr8 mixture is Shea Butter and EVOO!

  • @myB2H2 thank you girl :-) i will try it next time but will use it on me first, lol

  • Thanks for your recipe Nuna! I'm going to use this for me!!!

  • @knarigirl u're welcome, i also use it for me & she doesn't like that, hahahahaha

  • that looks really good. i wish i could have known that when i was a child. i had really bad eczima. i would have huge welps on me from scratching until it just hurt so bad. the only thing my parents had was this nasty medicated lotion from the doctor and it didnt really help. that looks really good though

  • @Letta510 reaaallly? sorry for you :-(

that's what i mean by i want to eductae my daughter, let her know all the options we have & i thank Lord for creating internet because so many good infos can be found :-)

    be safe :-)

  • EXCELLENT EXCELLENT video Nunaa !!

    xoxo Ki~Ki

  • @kiki1L hey kiki, tks a whole lot :-)

  • Great vid. I just made a body butter today :)

  • @MzSassyScorpio greaat, what was in there? or did you used the recipe shown here? if so have you already tried it once?

    love

    nunaa

  • @nunaavane Hey Nunaa. I am new to making natural hair and body products, so my body butter had shea butter (unrefined of course), coconut oil and vitamin E oil. I am going to check out the sweet almond oil. I want to change the smell of my body butter. Does it actually smell sweet?

  • @MzSassyScorpio well i grew up using it, so i really am used to the smell ! lol, some ppl don't like it some don't bother... it really depends on you :-)

  • @spurlight2000 i don't know why your comment is marked spam !! !

anyways, it has helped me tremendously NOT to have stretch marks ! like my miracle worker against stretch marks ! !

  • Comment removed

  • Omg, i have the same almond oil, and i live the U.S lol,i got it from an indian store. I will try this beauty recipe.

  • @sweetbee06 loool, that'exactly where i buy mine, an indian store :-)

  • i've been using the shea butter as well on my skin and hair it really helps keep my skin moisturized all day and its helped even out my skintone alot

  • Thanks for sharing.

  • This video was very helpful! There are so many places online to buy shea butter but some have additives and its not raw, so its hard to tell which is better. Do you have any suggestions on where to buy REAL shea butter online?

  • @MzJo76 you should check out Shea Butter Cottage and Zuri Naturals. I am not a sales person/ representative or spokesperson for either companies nor do I receive free products just a very happy customer. Bless xxx

  • Thanks for the vid. I was looking for a good moisterizer-will defiantly try

  • @aiesha824 you're more than welcome girl :-)

  • Thank you for sharing

  • @pinkpornstar1 you're welcome diva :-)

  • tu les achetes ou tes pots vides????

(le karité je penses qu'il est fabriqué au sénégal...)

  • Neem oil is a great oil for skin disorders. My daughter has ezema as well, and so did her father. I know about the itching at night. my daughter would "dig" into her skin, but doctors will perscrip steroid creams. I will stick to shea, neem.

    Thanks for sharing

    ~keep it real

  • @AFRICANEXPORT exactly ! this dig in the skin thing, i know that ! i might use Dr.Hauschka's neem oil, it's the only one i know that is not having mineral oil (compared to my indian oils i mean, lol)

    tks for the tip :-)
