when a film like this accompanied by an outstanding soundtrack comes along , you know people will cherish it even after 30yrs , this is whats youtube is for , THANK YOU!!!
I really liked this scene, but for some reason I just couldn't care about all that business with the Civil War. For me, that segment detracts from the movie and main story.
Love of gold, power and wealth even till the grave is one thing the movie is getting you to think about. The characters hold money and wealth above all else, even their lives, until some are enslaved by it.
this is the best western movie and soundtrack what ever is made. and no western like this they make no more. thanks sergio leone for making this movie
anyone see the nike football ad that sampled this? obviously this original outdoes the remix, it's still pretty cool. it's amazing how this song captures the raw human emotion that tuco has in that scene; you can see that he's clearly overcome with ecstasy, but there seems to be a touch of sadness or emptiness in his desire
This song reminds me of all the awesome music that gets horribly misrepresented and hacked by the music industry, most notably the commercial/rap industry.
This song makes it seem like it's still okay that you're about to get your ass kicked cause at least you showed up to prove you're not a pussy about getting your ass kicked...
This was my favorite on the soundtrack, even more than the main title. This version seems mixed a bit differently; the vocals disappear after the beginning, whereas I remember them throughout.

The name of this song should be "Oh How I love Satan!"
Love and power without responsibility, is slavery to the biggest fish.
