  • wankers really

  • Chris Thompson bass player with SBM is gigging and recording with his band KILLER B’S.

Album out now on track records!

Find them on Facebook and Myspace.

  • Saw them while in kollege, 1985, they came to Texas. Best damn show ever.

  • this is THE SHIT!

  • They did kick ass. Brilliant band!

  • I'd guess '87.

  • GUN-SHY and BIKINI RED now REISSUED via WOUNDED BIRD RECORDS! :) just fyi... i was looking up shtuff on them tonight and pleased to find that out! maybe hopefully they are on itunes and elsewhere. maybe now they'll find more of the audience they deserved.

talk about a band being twenty years ahead of its time; they would have probably flourished today in the net-music age... back then i remember america was still mostly jammin' out to huey louis and david lee roth -solo-... yikes!! ;0

  • GOLD

  • The 80's for some reason is the decade with the most unreleased or left to be deleted albums that cry out to be at the very least re-released on cd-mp3 if not remastered. Gun Shy is definitely at the top of the list.

  • Whats the name of this tune?

  • @fiftythirdand3rd

Someone to talk to off of their debut (and best) Gun Shy.

  • LOVE THIS BAND

  • Amazing, passionate, deep. And all the more so because of the the dark humor. I generally hate statements like this... but I can't think of anything/anyone ilke these guys.

  • @KnowKnot ..totally agree with you mate.

  • Is that from OGWT ?

  • Chris Thompson, bass player with 'Screaming Blue Messiahs' is releasing an album next month on Track Records 'Love is a Cadillac - Death is a Ford' with his band 'KILLER B's'.

    Check out the page: myspace./thekillerbsband

  • I remember Bill jumping up and down on his guitar at the Belly up in about...1986..?

  • Someone to talk too

  • Wow, i envy you shaney. You must have been real busy restringin his guitars the way Bill mistreated them. Big strings, but he still killed'em!

  • One of the best bands I have worked with. I was their roadie / guitar tech for US Gunshy tours. They were the first band I ever toured with and they changed my life! All three guys were top notch. Kenny pounded his drums til his head was red, Chris was so rock steady and had a cosmic connection with Bill's one of a kind guitar style. Seeing this video will make my Holiday ! Thanks to them and the poster

  • bill carter is a class performer ill love them til i die.........i may die in the combat zone....bummer

  • Jesus...these guys were the real deal.

I've never seen anyone wield a guitar like that. And the band is tighter than a heavy-weight's fist. If this clip is any indication, this band should be required listening and their gigs required viewing.

    I want more. Where?

  • saw 'em in london-marquee if i recall-mesmerising-with bob flailing his bare fingers across the strings and twitchin away it was easy to forget how rock solid the rhythm section were.Just brilliant.

  • '87 or 88 best show I saw that year. I still remember it. Backdoor in Ballard.

  • Thank you uploader you made my year

  • Thanks for posting these guys. A truly great band. Never got to see em live. Miss them and time era! I thought the eighties sucked, but now they were great times. Funny.

  • i had this on cassette also back in the late '80's. never saw them perform before.

  • got to interview Chris Thompson recently and he's an awesome guy. Go check it out at Consequence Of Sound.

  • nice job bill

  • I remember seeing these guys at Cardiff Arms when they were supporting Bowies Glass Spider Tour, pretty good!

  • myspace listen to the red machines they are todays screaming blue messiahs!

  • I used to have these guys on cassette. Anybody know if they can be found on CD?

  • THANK YOU!!!!!!!!

  • One of the top ten shows I have ever seen, was these guys at some underground bar in North Seattle.

  • come back the massiahs

  • RHINO: THE WORLD NEEDS GUN SHY AND BIKINI RED! Now more than ever ...

  • FUCKING OUTSTANDING!

  • Rhino,are you listening?? Re-release their first 2 albums,ok??? Excellent band.

  • Agreed..second the motion..rhino -re release

  • I agree. I'd buy a box set that had "Gun Shy", "Bikini Red", and "Totally Religious" in a second. Of course, some bonus tracks would be a great addition. Fantastic band.

  • all their albums kick serious ass!!

    best band ever!!!

  • These guys ripped! Gun Shy was a great LP. Love to see holiday head posted by someone?

  • Many thanks for posting this !

All the songs on "Good & Gone" have passed the test of time. Never saw the live, damned !

  • I saw the boys twice in their heyday (maybe three times even, but I suspect that I was too drunk to remember - they had that effect, too),it was the most blistering real 110% high octane rock'n'roll I've ever seen live!! And "Good & Gone" is one of my absolute top favorite records of all times! BTW, like your name, ZigZagWanderer, let's drink to the good Captain's health as well, buddy!!

  • Cheers Mate,

    I'll drink to that !

  • damn I wish I had a turntable...I wanna play my Screamie LPS Now!!!

Thanks for at least reminding me what a great band they were. Whatever happened to 'em all?

  • this is a fuckin great group,my mate tim used to do the sound for them, and got us into a lot of the london gigs they did, gods little elvis,in these days of kings of leon they should be hailed THE REALDEAL reissue now

  • awesome, gotta love these guys. still looking forward to a vid of Killer born man. Great post. thanks
