  • Awesome. This man followed the Law of One by service to others as opposed to service to self.

  • This man is amazing.

I'v noticed something though, the color yellow seems to always be apparent, whether he is surrounded by the color or mentioning it in some type of way.

  • Many, many respects at your holy feet.

  • Jai Guru Dev

  • Jai Guru Dev

  • Jai Guru Dev HaHaaaaaaaaaaa!

  • Is that cute!!!

    He laughs so much!

  • hey boo boo was more interesting

  • boo boo was more interesting

  • "Mommy! mommy! yellow car!" :)

Everyone has a natural desire to teach but very few people come out of the Himalayas to do so. More Humboldt tapes please!

  • The David Lynch Foundation is making TM available to any school/university that wants it.

The tuition fee for TM depends upon the average income of a country. So in poor countries the tuition might be $10, or even taught for free. And people sponsor others to learn all the time. TM is for everyone, but only those who want to learn will ever learn.

  • Teaching is a natural profession; once a light is lit it cannot keep its light from emanating;

Maharishi's institution is charging upwards of $2000 for the proliferation of this life saving, unfailing path to world peace.

Bottem line? The path to world peace must be available for everyone to walk; otherwise it is no different than any other system we have constructed around ourselves that invariably holds us back.

$2000 is more than the untouchables can afford.

  • @bryansteeksma - Modern living has costs that ancient teaching methods did not encounter. In India in the golden age a Yogi was welcome anywhere, they got alms from householders and land and wood etc was free, they could erect an ashram anywhere. Now its not the case.

  • Imagine how nice it would be meditating in the silent, beautiful places of the Himalaya's? It must have been a huge transition for Maharishi when he came to the west to teach.

Stoked to have TM! Thanks for posting this clip.

  • Wow, that huge applause after Maharishi's initial responce sounded like waves crashing in the ocean!

  • I am reminded of the overflowing cups analogy. I just love it. only a full cup can overflow. We can only give out what we 'fully' have.

  • Why he did not arrange 4 the next Guru in his name to use his ashram in Rishi Kesh, it is closed and under the goverment laws, no one can use it now? what a waste of energy to leave something full of he meitation energy just habandoned, it cannot be rescued by his followers? the surrounding is so beautiful, near to Mother Ganga River.

  • I think Maharishi didn't like that the sunrise was delayed be a few hours at that ashram... Agreed it would have been nice if it was kept in good condition...

  • I love it when he says 'I expected this growth about 6 years ago' haha.

    TM rocks! Thanks for posting.

  • Answer is Money :S

  • No it isn't

Maharishi never owned a thing or personally earnt a cent everything he did was for the world to help remove suffering because he knew life is bliss

  • I have been to the himalayas and I didn't want to come home!

Maharishi is very nice to have come out here to help us.

  • They don't charge much for Transcendental Meditation it is less than many leadership and self development courses around the place.

Additionally, if you were to pay a TM Teacher (out of the course fee) by the hour for all the work they do to teach someone this meditation over 4 days and then have regular follow up every month then the teacher would be getting LESS THAN MINIMUM WAGES.

Show me another technique where you can have a life time follow up anywhere in the world for FREE!

  • I have a problem. Mahareesh says that it is our duty to teach what knowlege we have. Why do TM charge so much to learn this life changing knowlege when it is their duty to share it with the world?

  • They don't charge much - you can get discounts if you are in financial need...

  • "Mommy mommy, yellow car!" awesome example!

  • yes, i like also :-)!

i enjoy really this "Everyone who has knowledge he just cant rested till he has given out..."

"I came out of Himalayas, I coudn't rest there"

Speaking so easily and blissfully, so much jokes, with kindness and paciency!

  • Haha, I love it when the guy asks if Maharishi expected it to grow as rapidly as it did, and Maharishi says "I expected this growth about six years ago!"

    Great video, thanks for posting.

  • I find it very fulfilling to see videos of Maharishi so readily available to such a wide audience. Beginning TM allowed me to tap my own inner peace, happiness and creative intelligence. I am extremely grateful.

  • Sweet.

  • Beautiful! Thank you Maharishi!

  • We have Transcendental Meditation because of Maharishi's infinite compassion! He left the unbounded bliss of the Himalaya's to come to the mud (the world) and teach this profound wisdom. We will be eternally grateful. Thank you!

  • I feel so lucky Maharishi came out of the Himalaya's because otherwise I wouldn't have been able to learn Transcendental Meditation and all his other amazing programs. Thanks for posting!

  • I love this video! Maharishi can be hilarious... I really feel his bliss and love flowing out in his speech.
