This performer is Mr. Sylvain Pichet, the President of the French Musical Saw Association called "A.N.D.I.A.L.S" (Association Nationale Des Interprètes et Amis de la Lame Sonore). Sylvain (and I, and other saw players from England, Japan, Hong Kong, Shenzhen and Shanghai) were playing at a musical saw concert in Hong Kong in the Fall of 2006. The "shakeyness" of his leg which causes the vibrato is utilized by most saw players - though I personally prefer playing with much less vibrato too.

Too bad the backing tracks are so tacky sounding. He's got a very loose vibrato (reminds me of Sidney Bechet), but good pitch control. In the proper setting, he could probably do some great stuff.
lol, "Mars Attacks!" Version.
