  • Reminds me of Harry potter and the goblet of fire

  • Just make inside an extructure like a "half baloon". It will burn, but will mantain the "baloon" format and the heat will raise it.

  • it was pants... i eat pants..... O_o

  • We're all secretly injected with drugs when we go to YouTube, it's the only explanation.

  • i couldnt tell what was going on.... not until i read the comments

  • yea people can do that with certain tea bags

  • Tea bag ????? I did that once with the tea bag and wen it was done burning it shot into the air

  • Tea bag???? I did that once

  • Haha u burnt what ever and then thhe wind picked it up and fallowed your hands with it

  • its a cookie rapper that u can buy, when u lght them on fire they fly up, we do it at my grandparents all the time retards

  • It get's light enough so the heat from the fire can make it rise.

  • Its pretty much the same how hot air baloons work.

  • i wanna say there was a balloon inside of what was lit but iunno lol

  • u just light an empty tea bag on fire and eventualy it will rise becaues of the fising heat A.K.A. "Convection" inside of the tea bag

  • its just the fact that its hot enough and light enough to rise into the air

  • hmm. magnets. definately not bro

  • the smoke is building up inside and we all know that hot air goes up and so does that

  • "we all know" hm. apparently not, read the other comments :)

  • when i say we all know i ment we "as in the people who thinks" know

  • its all magnets

  • magnets? - its heat!

  • So... My guess would be, that the flame creates heat, the heat goes up, causing some kind of uplift, and when that uplift is "stronger" then the weight of the paper, the paper goes up. kind of right? xD

  • disregard my last comment. it wasnt me it was my friend being a retard

  • nope. physics

  • i no but my mom wont let me get mailed things i wont giv it away

  • It's called a Mississippi fire kite

Pretty interesting device if I do say so myself. I have done this with full sheets of news paper and they can gi up to about 60 ft (Measured with an ultrasonic tape measure)

  • hot air+ cold air= rise:)

  • when most of the wieght is gone the paper becomes so light that the fire uses it's energy to lift it off the ground, thus dousting the flame.

  • I think you meant to put Psychic not physics....

  • this is obviously not a psychological trick...

  • use a thingy that tea is held in

  • It only works with lighter types of paper. i used tissue paper in this example video.

  • ITS CONVECTION heat rises right, so when the power of the hot air rising becomes greater than the weight pulling it down it floats thats why it only floats when the objest is compleatly burnt

  • i kno im just a 4th grader(going to 5th) but ikno that

  • does it work with any kind of paper???

  • a burning hot air baloon.

  • hot air tends to rise up ward due to the air particals that r moving faster then the cold air the r going slower... jezz, i sound lik a nerd typing this, but thats the "trick"

  • The paper rises due to covection. Hot air rises from the bottom of the burning paper and pushes it upwards.

  • It doesnt say anywhere that its a magic trick. it says fire physics trick

  • it's to do with hot air rising isn't it? so when it becomes hot enough the paper floats up and then burns out..

  • How do you make that?

  • That's no magic m8, but it's physics... And Sverror likes physics!

  • very good. hot air balloon affect. And i KNOW it is not a magic trick. it is simply a neat thing to post on youtube... i guess.

  • Yeah we did something like that once, only with cleanexes and light paper, good Idea

  • That's not magic. It's physics. That's my explanation, and I'm sticking to it.

  • u can use an empty tea bag and light it on fire and itll float cus i guess they say it becomes lighter than air (idk)

  • Woot. :D

  • Hot air gets trapped under the triangle, not that hard.

  • very good sir. :)

  • poor, poor incompotent humans. :P no i promise its no trick, its triangle folded paper then i burned it. ha

  • its a fucking tea-bag dumb ass!

  • lol its probubly atached to a string

  • you know thoose snake fireworks thingys thats basicly what it was

  • EdgarTheRaven , and Serith61890 you are both correct. Finally! It is quite simple, you are right, but just somethin to show on youtube i guess. :)

  • its quite obvious. the heat make the paper rise. notice how it only rises after its almost burned to nothing. it was to heavy to rise at first. but as it got smaller it rose. its just weight and heat is all.

  • Did I gues right?:)

  • no no no and no. All i used was the paper

the folded paper was lit with a match. thats it. it rises with a reason though. I said THINK of a hot air balloon. Imagine the paper as a hot air balloon. that gave it away. lol

  • It's simple.I don't remember what was the name of inventor of first hot air baloon, but I know that he take idea for baloon from paper bag wich he trow into a fireplace. The bag lifted up and go out from house trough the chimney, becouse he throw the bag untuched and upside down.Hot air was locked inside and has no way out so paper bag goes up, becouse hot air was pushing it up and up to the moment when wind pushed the bag from another direction and give freedom to the locked air or bag was burned

  • lol it just looks like a invisible string attached to the thing thats on fire .....

  • hot air baloons? so you got some kind of little balon over the paper, and its atacked to the paper by a string or something, and the hot air that rises gets into the baloon, wich rises up, lifting the paper?

  • nah, it has to do with hot air balloons. that should give it away. hot air balloons aren't magic, nor is this, so there is your hint.

  • it was done using simple physics. the material u used naturally floats when burned, its called flash cotton if im right, they use it on stage as well, it burns low temp and will 90% of the time float away while burning to nothing

  • Nice try Isuka77, thats way off. Lol i don't even know most of what you said. ha well nice try though

  • the wind just blew the fire up or maybe a fan

  • no all e did was take ugh idk wat its called paper masche or w/e folded it into a triangle and stood it up the lit the 3 top orners of it hoping that the corners would burn at the same time try it it will fly up

  • how did you do that

  • the heat from the fire causes the what is burning to rise..idk a vacum caused by the fire sucks up the piece of paper, just a guess

  • it makes hot air whichs rises

  • Sweet

  • u can do the same thing with teabags.. just empty out the tea leaves, stand the teabag up right.. then light it from the top.. its that easy

  • thats the paper lightness

  • yea its like a hot air baloon the rising/lighter hot are will force its way up taking the burning paper with it

  • of course is not a "magic trick"

  • but it's a magic of science...:P lol

  • not really... think of a hot air balloon

  • Your outside right? Or in a gradge with the door open that is. Its possible that the wind, or air, made the "fire" float as it got lighter.

    DO I WIN?! XD
