That is at least my understanding of the problem. A lot of people that buy them have money but not any knowledge about cars.

The Gallardos are known for the oil cooling lines to plug up causing the oil not to circulate and in return heat up and catch fire. I don't know much about the Murcielago's but I have herd that they have been known for issues with the brakes and brake fluid catching fire. You also have to take into consideration that people drive them too fast in the heat of the summer and don't know anything about preventive maintenance.
