I love when Weird Al does really long songs like Genius, Trapped, and Albuquerque, and just goes crazy with it. They're songs you can get absorbed in and have a fun stupid time with for 10 minutes.

I am not familiar with Frank Zappa, so I didn't really dig this song when I first heard it. I knew there had to be something more to it! I'm still on the fence about Poodle Hat as a whole; I feel like it's Al's weakest album so far, but it's still got some goodies.

i don't know what song this particularly parodies from Frank. it sounds a lot like "be in my video", it starts off as "I am the slime", it has the rhythms of "you are what you is", and some licks (xylophones and unusual sounds) from Sheik Yerbouti and Apostrophe. Where did this come from?

I personally love this song. I don't care what anyone says. The lyrical genius in this song, like all of Al's songs, is hysterically creative. I get something new out of it every time I hear it.

@restlessr84 Yup. The song structure, tempo, time/key changes, are all Zappa influenced. Zappa was a huge influence on on Weird Al. I seem to remember something in the liner notes about it. And Dweezil play's the solos on the song.
