I think Mickey Favors Riku for teaching him something.

While riku chose darkness and saw his way to light (BECAUSE IDK! DARKNESS SEEMS FINE IF YOU WANTED TO USE TO FIGHT AGAINST IT), mickey saw that choosing darkness has its own significant point of view.

Sora, who is all about light stood with the light and is still not a pal of mickey as much, Ohhhhhh if only mickey knew that Sora was Ven in many ways. Auggghh.

i would lovbe to travel with riku at night time i would stare at him until the sun came back up

they use the organizations cloaks because riku was using the corridors of darkness to travel from world to world the cloaks prevent you from being swallowed up by the darkness while using the corridors of darkness, and since mickey was traveling with riku he got a cloak to, this is also why the members of organization 13 have the cloaks because they arnt really apart of the dark realm and can be consumed by the darkness
