May God have mercy of brother Branham's soul, but I'm afraid he knew he had failed, as one of his last statements (as quoted on Gordon Lindsay's book "William Branham- a man sent by God") was the following: "I've been a neurotic all my life". As with any gentile prophet, Branham's prophecy was incomplete, and would often "backfire" (as when he predicted the 22 feet high Jeffersonville flooding, but couldn' foresee that same flooding would claim the life of both his wife and his little daughter.

While you're into it, look into his beliefs about UFO's and the Pyramids, and again, see if it's true or not that he denied the Trinity. After that, take a look at First Century Christianity. I've read plenty of Ante-Nicene fathers (I think that's what you were referring to, as the Nicene council was in the 4th, not the 1st Century). I'm Orthodox, we were founded at Pentecost when the Lord filled the Church (which the gates of Hades never overcame) w His Spirit.

And what took place in the 4th century, if you really read the histories, would show that many pagan practices and doctrines were introduced into Christianity...in particular...the trinity.

Abraham bowed down and worshipped the 3 "angels", calling them "Lord" (not Lords, very clear in Hebrew). When John baptised Jesus, we see Father, Son, Holy Spirit. Jesus didn't leave a Bible, he left a Church, which wrote and collected the books now known as the Bible (Canon was settled in the 4th century, as you know if you've read your Church Fathers).

Abraham bowed down and worshipped the 3 "angels", calling them "Lord" (not Lords, very clear in Hebrew). When John baptised Jesus, we see Father, Son, Holy Spirit. Jesus didn't leave a Bible, he left a Church, which wrote and collected the books now known as the Bible (Canon was settled in the 4th century, as you know if you've read your Church Fathers).

@LoveMokes Actually, my sins are covered by the blood of Jesus. I enter Heaven because of His grace and sacrifice for m. No "I never knew you" for me, though I know it's only because of Him, not because of anything I've done. Lots of non-Christians would tell me to go away - The truth must be told, even though many reject it. Can't get lost, I'm already found.

Samuel wasn't prophecying when he "picked" David to annoint as king, he was going on what God revealed to him & his own assumptions. He wasn't speaking as God's mouthpiece until God told him that David was the one selected.

I'm trying to follow the 'debate' here, but it seems neither party actually know what it is they believe. I think it's simple: If you believe the prophet, keep it to yourself and believe in God. If you do not believe that WMB was God's prophet, why be insulting? Just let it be and live your own life.

but difference would be in what you are proclaiming, proclaim Christ as savior yes, but it is not manditory to proclaim a prophet as WMB we know by the works that God did through him that he was a man of God, but the important issue is who he proclaimed, he peached of Christ. now there will be those who believe that God used him and not, and those who dont well dont, and those who do they can just keep it to themselves. lets not shup up about Christ, with that certain.

Last night Brother Branham came to me in a dream. I asked him about the light above his head in that so called famous picture. He said it was the flames of hell for his deception and trickery of Gods children. His last words to me were -- tell the Branhamites I'll see them all in HELL . It was so real I still have goose bumps.

Thomas, I have heard literally thousands of times on audio tapes where complete strangers were brought b4 this man, and he would in gr8 detail identify their problems..to which they not once spoke up and said (wrong)....but would scream out because it was the truth...gr8 man of his time recognized it as the greatest gift of any evangelist ever! please stop being a whining loser, and quit trying to wash this off your hands, you fail to do ur homework,he did not add to the word.he fulfilled it.

The only preconceived ideas I have come from the Bible. I don't belong to a denomination. I also don't belong to the "faith movement" which is just a denomination without the accountability, as we've seen recently with Todd Bentley.
I don't have a comfort zone in my Christian life. It seems like you have one in your charismatic life.

I attended a church for a year or so after the Lord drew me near to him and the Men in the pulpit told me everything about myself even things that I had never shared with people at the time I beleived wooowww great a true man of God these men also healed people I brought a freind to church who received healing. But I later found out the power was not from God.

This response "you would not and could not understand his relevance if you tried" is typical of the gnostic religions that Paul warned us of in Galatians. They claimed special knowledge, special prophecies outside of God's Word. About them, God's Word says "But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned!"

Lay off of TL and Daisy! I went to one of Dr. Daisy's conferences with my niece and met women of God who have raised up Bible believing churches. If anyone has ever seen all these people who have touched by the Lord and proclaim JESUS then you would feel differently.
Do I believe Branham was led by God? In the beginning, yes. But he got off the track. So did Judas and Peter. But does the fact that some people started out well and then messed up negate the rest of the followers of Christ? NO!

I heard so many preachers are missing it... SO I traveled and sat in the front row a their meetings. Try it some time.
