  • I like the Marten blade shape :)

  • "black coating"?

    I the steel blued?

If so, you can do that yourself, fairly easily

  • @damarei It had a shiny black coating all over the blade. I ground it off on the bevels to make it genuine Scandi bevels and edge. It was not a steel color. Thank you!

  • @damarei

    The blade is graphite coated.

  • Thank you for this information!

  • Thank you for this video Virtuovice. Could you please write where to buy these from?

  • @TheSchutes I have ever bought 2 pieces of Karesuando knives from their own web shop. Their service is very quick and the shipping cost is low. They offer all their line-up there. I bought the Kimmo Sorvoja knife from Gransslojd web shop. They seemed to make the knife after the order. It took a bit long time. I love Heinnie Hayness web shop for Scandi knives in general. Their service is very good. Thank you!

  • Wako, this is a beautiful knife. I can tell by it's shape that it will be better for your hunting purposes. It has everything you need and if you micro convex it like the others, I believe you will have found the ideal hunting knife for your needs.

  • Very nice Scandinavian collection

  • Excellent videos sir :). I am a recent subscriber, and your videos are very informational, and very enjoyable to watch!!!! Thank you so much for doing these and keep up the good work :).

  • i normally don't like coatings but that one looks great! its not really opaque, more translucent. very nice.

  • Very nice knife, i enjoy the reviews! i have the Karsuando Boar survival, very same as this, best knife i ever used for hunting, fishing and bushcraft, very good quality steel.

  • you need to do a revue of all of your hunting Knives as you did a year ago...... (Apr 6th 2010)

(the video will be a lot longer and you might need a bigger box to put them all in)

  • @siypic Surely I have a bigger box now. I will do it after some knives come here. One is at BRKT for repair. One is at my friend's place. Some are on order. I'd like to line up all my knives. Thank you!

  • another good knife ;)

Try carbon steel karesuando - good heattreating to 59HRC

  • There are skinning knives and field dressing knives, my guess is that this is a field dressing knife. It's very suitable for the creative cutting required to cut backstraps, loinmuscle, etc.. that's why it has a slimmer, more flexible handle. Other knives have a thicker handle, which gives more power for cutting the skin. That's my theory about this knife... And I agree with @SpartanJohns, I would love to see an update on your collection :) Thank you for the review

  • @AjiraKimberly What I think on this knife is completely the same as what you say. Thank you!

  • looks good. not my style of blade, but it has something to it.

someday i hope you will show us your entire collection cause you do have some very beautiful knives.
