yeah still quite an accomplishment. What was nice was that she didn't have that "mariah Carey" voice that so many young stars try to clone.. which in of itself is derived from whitney houston. I mean for 30 years we've heard the same shit and in comes alize with hr deep soulful voice. I luv this period were she was just starting and her voice was so nasally.. I called her Nasalée!
