thank you sir. i had about 95-100 whp with that ole NA 13b and i tried my ass off to keep it sideways, it helped me out a lot to start with it though. I still use a similar feint that i learned back then every now and again, but it have 412whp to make up for the rest. :)
LOL. A skilled driver can drive most RWD cars stock and drift them perfectly. As Keiichi Tsuchiya says you don't need to spend a lot on your car to start drifting.
back then i only had kyb shocks and racing beat springs. this was over two years ago, so the car is completely different and we look back at this vid and laugh cause we thought it was so badass back then!! haha
More power!!! I got a 88 Vert I had a header and air filter and had the same problem. Now going 6 port turbo in a few months TII trans will help (better gearing) and light weight flywheel, light weight wheels and better clutch.
as a general rule its better to have a somewhat stiff front end and a soft rear end. i stuck with that and my ranger i had done wonders. if you cant afford suspension find some worn out shocks and put them on the back
There were some nice ones, I think you're main issue is not enough power and too soft a suspension. Gotta say it was good for a stock NA 13B, Just bought my first FC, 1990 Turbo 2.
All FC's and FD's come with 13B's, a 13B is just a two rotor rotary engine. This model just has a naturally aspirated engine where as the FC's can come with 13B Turbo's and FD's come with Twin Turbo 13B's.
lol hahah well.. . i do recall something of that feeling. . haha i had no idea!!! . thanks for the heads up dude :] i never seen it from the outside. ill have to check it out
i have ebrake lock out button, slotted/vented rotors and carbotech racing pads front/rear, stainless steel brake lines- helps keep the lines from bulging. i constantly adjust it too- keep it around 5 clicks until it's completely locked.
As blown as the struts look in some of those clips.. it dosnt matter bro, you've got an FC dude props, keep those rotors spinning bro

stiffen up the front and soften up the rear, but ur main problem will be a lack of power

Do you have the 13B.
If you do is it a good engine to drift with.

spikederailed 3 years ago
what techniques you use? clutch kick. heel and toe etc
RuiRyoma 3 years ago
i don't really clutch kick, mostly weight transition drifting or enertial drifting. a little power over, a little e-brake.
getting a turbo II ready to go right now... need more powa!
mtnfc3s 3 years ago
how do you get your e-brake to lock. my cant lock at all so i power over or feint clutch-kick to get a drift going.
RuiRyoma 3 years ago
i have ebrake lock out button, slotted/vented rotors and carbotech racing pads front/rear, stainless steel brake lines- helps keep the lines from bulging. i constantly adjust it too- keep it around 5 clicks until it's completely locked.

ebrake on stock pads will stretch the cable
