HENDRIX produced a lot of his music and he didn't follow #2. And most people can sing. I've heard many people get rejected on American Idol who sang better then Bob Dylan. Have you guys ever actually listened to how horrible of a singer Mick Jagger is? Music is an Art not a Science. That's why they call the people we listen to Artists. We all think it's a Science but it's one big lie that we think is a truth..But I agree wth the majority of what he's saying and you can always improve on your art
You give the best advice on all of your videos, and your website as well!
This video made me realize that I need to discipline myself more to take them time to get the best mix that I can out of a song, allowing me to learn more about mixing, like you had mentioned! Then maybe i won't have to look at all the unfinished work in shame! :)
Joe - Thanks for all your good stuff, but I wonder if I could ask a question on another topic?
I try every fade option and still can't get the old-fashioned fadeout that never stops - - that just disappears "around the bend"
Everything I try in PT creates a fade but you still hear the dead stop at the end of the regions. Ever heard of such a problem? I follow the instructions: Select up to or beyond the end - but darn if that doesn't always leave the dead end audible.
Great advice! Though number 2 hits a little close to home. I guess it's time to see what I have laying around and put in the work to finish up the melodies! Keep up the great work.
Some good advice. You made me think about things regarding recording that I have overlooked. I agree about the fast. And the question about unfinished projects made me a bit guilty. I tend to have projects that on the other hand are finished but haven't been published, which is even worse. Keep brain storming me. Thank you
AMAZING ADVICE MATE!
