  • the only reason most people get pc's is because of the price. Now that they are almost similar in pricing, there is no doubt people would go for the mac over the pc.

  • @janri3l What planet are you from?! Money is no object for me when choosing an ultrabook and i would never buy a Mac.

  • Actually...I messed around with the Samsung & it felt incredible, seriously. At first I didnt even know it was a Samsung, I just saw a cool looking, aluminum laptop. When I began typing, getting a general feel of it, it felt incredible. It felt solid, the keys were plush & high end. Then it hit me..."What brand is this?" And I saw Samsung...Although it had an SSD which made it awfully fast, the turn off was that it was only 4gb of RAM, 13" screen & intel i5. If they make 15" 8+ gb ram i7? I'm in

  • Just ignore the first apple sucker who commented here..samsung is making apple run for their money

  • @Chillz261088 Why, when people are having rational exchanges, do you have to use loaded expressions like "apple sucker"? Are you limited in your level of intelligence? If so, I forgive you.

  • @Stantheskeptic Forgive, but remember login.

Anyway don't you think that saying this Samsung is"Cutting edge Technology" is an overstatement. Asus UX31 had 1600x900 13,3'' screen few months ago. And it took "only" 4 years to copy Apple in shape and thickness.

Btw. if you look at other ultrabooks prices you will see that they not much cheaper than Airs.

  • Samsung looks cool..

  • Perhaps it's just my eyes and brain, but I see a far more elegant design in the Macbook Air than in the Samsung Series 9.

I'm truly a fanboy of both Apple and Samsung, but I prefer the look of the Air.

I recently bought a Samsung Smart TV. I can see so many ways in which Apple can improve on existing Smart TVs. One quite apparent way will be the remote command device, which is just plain ridiculous, to me, on the Samsung. Stan Kossen

  • @Stantheskeptic I can tell that you have not actually handled, typed or messed around with a Samsung laptop, especially this particular model...I own a MBP 15" fully-upgraded. The one I tried had a 13" screen, i5 processor & 4gb of ram. The SSD drive made it very fast. It felt more solid than my mac...If they make a 15" w/8 or more gb or ram w/an intel i7 quad core & SSD drive...I'm definitely getting one, no question.

  • @pitolove71 Hi. As I mentioned, I also like Samsung. However, it is not only the design of Apple I prefer (after all, Samsung copies Apple), but its the operating system. I currently have installed both OSX Lion and Win 7, and although Win 7 has been greatly improved, I personally prefer the Lion. I had a Samsung notebook, and in addition to my Sammy Smart TV I have two Samsung digital camera--so I certainly am not anti-Samsung. However, I still prefer Apple--except for their pricing structure!
